I am a writer and cook living in San Sebastián, Spain. Currently I spend my time writing, teaching cooking classes and various other culinary endeavours in San Sebastián. I have a 16 year old and a 4 year old.

I am looking for someone to help with caring for my youngest daughter. She is currently 4 years old. Depending on the dates, I will need help either to supplement nursery school in the afternoons or take care of her during the mornings while I work. The babysitter should also be available 2-3 nights a week, although that is flexible and with past Workaway-ers I work around their evening schedule so my night out coincides with their night in.

San Sebastián is probably the world's greatest city. The food is amazing, with pintxos lining the counters of every bar. There are three beaches, one of which is great for surfing and is about three blocks away from our house. We live in Gros, the younger, hipper neighborhood of San Sebastián. The mountains are at five minutes walking from our home; everything is in walking distance, really. Our three former caregivers have all fallen in love with the place and wish they could come back.

I can't even realize how lucky I was to spend my two weeks in San Sebastian with Marti and Buckley. The perfectly situated apartment, the extremely light schedule and the company of these two just made my stay amazing. Thank you for having me home, I hope to be back soon!

Annika is the kindest and most good-hearted person! It's obvious that she cares about doing things right and she has a deeply ingrained work ethic. I wish she could have stayed for longer! And my daughter feels the same. It was a pleasure to have her!

We had such a great experience with Anna! She was so helpful with my daughter and a great presence to have around the house. She was always kind, willing to help, and really a moral support for all of us. We will miss her! Ask her to cook you some Polish food ....

Marti and Buckley are amazing! I could only stay 10 days but I had the loveliest time, they are so welcoming and friendly, I felt at home right away.
