  Hi! I'm Juan Pablo, a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the care and well-being of individuals, as well as in the creation and management of projects. I moved to Antigua Guatemala to get away from city life and embrace a new journey of spiritual growth- that's why I decided to create our place. Hostel refers to the divine essence that resides within every human being. My focus is primarily on the well-being of people, ensuring they can fully embrace their journey in this world. My daughter supports me in all visual aspects. We have an energetic kitchen/cleaning assistant and a guardian who supports us during the night.

  Hola! Mi nombre es Juan Pablo y soy Psicólogo clínico con amplia experiencia en el trato y bienestar de las personas, al igual que en la construcción y dirección de proyectos. Mi nuevo proyecto está inspirado en mi experiencia reciente de dejar la vida en la ciudad atrás y conectar con un nuevo lado de mi espiritualidad en Antigua Guatemala. Se refiere a aquella esencia divina que habita en todos los seres humanos.Mi enfoque es el bienestar de las personas, ante todo, para que puedan disfrutar la experiencia del paso en este mundo.

  Enthusiastic Hostel Hospitality Volunteer Opportunity. Support in reception, assistance with changing linens, addressing guest inquiries, and handling bookings. A positive service attitude, with a focus on ensuring guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience throughout their stay.
  We provide a welcoming, peaceful, centrally located environment with a homely atmosphere.

  Alojamiento

  This room is shared and features a bunk bed for two individuals. It offers a cozy atmosphere with cabinet space for clothing and a bedside table. The bathroom and shower are shared among volunteers and conveniently located adjacent to the room. The room provides a pleasant view of our beautiful garden and maintains a comfortable temperature during the night.
  
  We will provide volunteers with two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and asking 5hrs of work per day, 5 days a week. However, we are open to discuss this with each individual to suit their needs and our requests best.
  
  Also we have a Temazcal “Mayan Sauna” which can be used by volunteers. It is unique in Antigua Guatemala and is attracting many travelers.

  Esta habitación es compartida y cuenta con una litera para dos personas. Ofrece un ambiente acogedor con espacio en el armario para la ropa y una mesita de noche. El baño y la ducha se comparten entre los voluntarios y están justo al lado de la habitación. La habitación ofrece una agradable vista a nuestro hermoso jardín y mantiene una temperatura agradable durante la noche.
  
  Como parte del puesto, el desayuno y el almuerzo están incluidos en tus comidas. Se espera que trabajes durante cinco horas al día, cinco días a la semana.
  
  También tenemos un Temazcal “Sauna Maya” que puede ser usado por los voluntarios. Es único en Antigua Guatemala y está atrayendo a muchos viajeros.

  Antigua Guatemala is known by locals and tourists as the land of the 'eternal spring.' Recognized for its colonial architecture and cobble stone streets, it blends the multicultural world that is Guatemala through its variety of shops, textiles and people. Surrounded by volcanoes, 3 of which can be observed from city centre (Agua, Acatenango and Fuego) are a popular activity for people interested in hiking adventures. The city is full of different museums (art, history, anthropology, etc) to explore and several artisanal markets.
  The hostal is interested in cultivating a peaceful and harmonious environment with people that are interested in learning more about the world and themselves through new experiences and cultures.

  Antigua Guatemala es conocida por sus residentes y turistas como la tierra de la 'primavera eterna'. Reconocida por su arquitectura colonial y calles empedradas, Antigua fusiona el mundo multicultural que es Guatemala a través de su variedad de tiendas, textiles y personas. Rodeada por volcanes, tres de los cuales pueden observarse desde el centro de la ciudad (Agua, Acatenango y Fuego), son una actividad popular para quienes buscan aventuras de senderismo. La ciudad está llena de diversos museos (arte, historia, antropología, etc.) para explorar y varios mercados artesanales.
  
  El hostal está interesado en cultivar un ambiente tranquilo y armonioso con personas que tengan interés en aprender más sobre el mundo y sobre sí mismas a través de nuevas experiencias y culturas.
