  Hi! I'm Juan Pablo, a Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience in the care and well-being of individuals, as well as in the creation and management of projects. I moved from Antigua Guatemala, where I had a hostal, to embrace a new journey of spiritual growth- that's why I decided to create a experiences place (Cooking school, cacao workshop, craft workshop, Salsa Café, Salsa class, etc,) all related with Mayan and Guatemalan traditions. My focus is primarily on the well-being of people, ensuring they can fully embrace their journey in this world. My daughter supports me in all visual aspects. I am searching for strong souls that want to support, create and serve; mostly translators english-spanish, and/or people with good vibe to make marketing/advertise (flyers, talk to people, make alliances, etc). We have an energetic kitchen/cleaning assistant and workshop teachers. Some times you will support in cleaning area.
  We are in a privileged location conected directly with the lake.

  Hola! Mi nombre es Juan Pablo y soy Psicólogo clínico con amplia experiencia en el trato y bienestar de las personas, al igual que en la construcción y dirección de proyectos. Me mudé de Antigua Guatemala, donde tuve un hostal, para continuar con mi viaje espiritual y de crecimiento, y crear un espacio de experiencias (Clases de cocina, taller de cacao, taller de arte, clases de salsa, etc) todo relacionado a las tradiciones Mayas y de Guatemala. Mi enfoque es el bienestar de las personas, ante todo, para que puedan disfrutar la experiencia del paso en este mundo. Me apoya mi hija en todo el tema visual. Estoy en búsqueda de almas fuertes que quieran apoyar, crear y servir; principalmente traductores ingles-español, o personas con buena energía que apoyen en mercadeo/ventas (entrega de volantes, hablar con personas, hacer alianzas, etc).
  Tenemos una chica de cocina / limpieza, super pilas, y las personas que realizan los talleres. Algunas veces nos apoyaras en temas de limpieza.
  Estamos en una ubicación privilegiada, justo a orilla del lago.

  As a valued member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to fully embrace the journey, learning under my guidance as the director, within a nurturing environment that fosters personal growth from within and outside.
  
  You will support local people on the market tour and workshops. So you can learn more about the culture and leguages.
  
  You will have free days to visit Tikal, swim in the lake and explore Petén.

  Enthusiastic Hospitality Volunteer Opportunity. What we need most are English-Spanish translators, but we can make some exceptions depending on attitude and experience. Support with cleaning, translation, marketing, placing posters, creating relationships with hostels, handling clases bookings, etc. A positive service attitude, with a focus on ensuring clients have a pleasant and comfortable experience throughout their participacipation.
  We provide a welcoming, peaceful, centrally located environment with a homely atmosphere. The owner lives in the place.
  We have a lot of experience with volunteers, and we appreciate that they want to support us, which is why we do an initial interview as a prerequisite. Likewise, if in your performance we identify that you do not have a supportive attitude, we will make the decision to ask you to leave, even if we advance the agreed time.

  Alojamiento

  This room is shared and features a 2 bunk bed. It offers a cozy atmosphere and fans for heat. The bathroom and shower are shared among volunteers and conveniently located adjacent to the room.
  
  We will provide volunteers with two meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and asking 5hrs of work per day, 5 days a week. Hours and days will vary according to the demand of our clients.

  Esta habitación es compartida y cuenta con 2 literas. Ofrece un ambiente acogedor con ventiladores para el calor. El baño y la ducha se comparten entre los voluntarios y están justo al lado de la habitación.
  
  Como parte del puesto, el desayuno y el almuerzo están incluidos. Se espera que trabajes durante cinco horas al día, cinco días a la semana. Los horarios y días variarán conforme la demanda de nuestros clientes.

  Petén is known by locals and tourists as the the "cradle of the mayan empire". Recognized for its nature, mysticism, high energy levels, adventure and the opportunity to connect with your inner self. It blends the multicultural world that is Guatemala through its variety of areas to explore and great people. The Flores Island, surrounded by a lake, makes it a magical place, during day and during night with all its colors.
  If you like mystic places and can feel the vibe, you will really enjoy it.
  The Experiencies Project is interested in cultivating a peaceful and harmonious environment with people that are interested in learning more about the world and themselves through new experiences and cultures.

Reconocido por su naturaleza, misticismo, altos niveles de energía, aventura y la oportunidad de conectar con tu yo interior. Combina el mundo multicultural que es Guatemala a través de su variedad de áreas para explorar y su excelente gente. La Isla de Flores, rodeada por un lago, la convierte en un lugar mágico, de día y de noche con todos sus colores.
  Si te gustan los lugares místicos y puedes sentir el ambiente, realmente lo disfrutarás.
  
  El Proyecto Experiencias está interesado en cultivar un ambiente pacífico y armonioso con personas interesadas en aprender más sobre el mundo y sobre sí mismos a través de nuevas experiencias y culturas.
