Descripción
Hi , We live on the coromandel coast , 10 minutes from Thames. We have a reasonable size property that needs regular maintenance and are looking for helpers for this. For accomodation we have a self contained unit . Our property has a creek running around it with a swimming hole , there are kayaks to use and bushwalks all around. We are piscatarian so all food provided will be vegetarian or fish.

We are in the centre of the NZ bush . Love to share our knowledge of the outdoors , tramping, sailing kayaking. We enjoy traveling, and meeting other travelers.

I lived here for several months. The unit is very comfortable and you can have your own privacy. The work I did was mostly in the garden (weeding , transporting the dirt...) but I also did some painting and cleaning around … read more
We had our own unit with bathroom and kitchen. We got some food for breakfast and lunch but in the evening we were always invited for delicious dinner in their house. We very enjoyed that our evening meeting was always set at the same time and it was a lot of time to talk in the nice atmosphere :) We … read more

They showed us around a lot and made us feel like part of the family. At dinner time they always told us great story's and taught us about kiwi life.
Our tasks included gardening work and renovation of a house. It was all really fun and they were flexible with the working hours.

The work was fair and varied.
The beach and various hiking trails were only minutes walk away and Bron offered to drive us somewhere multiple times.
In the evening we got delicious food and ate together.
