We are a brand new hostel opening up in Saranda, Albania. Etch your name in folklore, and be of a part of the team that helps mould this place and makes it a home to so many people that come after you.

Greetings fellow traveller! We would like to welcome you home. We are a social hostel so loads of fun to be had but you’ll still be able to get some sleep. We are offering a bed, breakfast and the opportunity to live next to the beach while having a good time. All this for a measly five, five hour, shifts.

Only solo travellers should apply. This hostel will be a great place for you to meet people and we only offer bunk beds (really uncomfortable to share)

Since we are a social hostel you will be expected to socialise with our guests. We really want a social atmosphere and we wont get that if our guests are mice and doormats. So if you are really shy, this is not the place for you to work.
We require a absolute minimum of three weeks, but prefer four or more, especially during peak season. Also, do not apply more than four weeks before you want to work here, we do not take people on that early.

Here are some of things you’ll be doing in exchange for this experience. We will have paid cleaners so you wont have to do ALL the dirty deeds but cleaning duties will be given. Mopping, changing beds, sweeping and trash duty will all be involved. General duties like checking in guests and socialising will all become second nature.

You will also be trained in the most extreme of all the hostel activities BEERPONG! Our volunteers will be able to amaze our guests with their ping pong prowess and share in all the beer soaked glory.

This has been my first and most amazing workaway experience. Loch, the manager, is one of the kindest and funniest bosses I’ve ever had. I volunteered at this hostel for three weeks and I've truly enjoyed my time there.
The work is easy to learn and takes you only a small part of the day, so you can explore Saranda, some nice places nearby and enjoy the beautiful sea!
