  Hello there!
  We are a German family with three kids.
  Ianis (9), Ida (5) and Lilli (4) living in Central Portugal in the countryside near the historical town “Tomar”.
  We are an international family - our journey brought us from the Berlin countryside to a small sea town South East of England until we purchased this little paradise on earth - a 2ha eco-retreat farm, with orchards, our little dog Sonntag and our cat Eric.
  
  We speak fluent German, English and Portuguese.

  We live near the historical town of Tomar, and a 10 min walk from a beautiful lake called Barragem do Castello, that you can swim in (we also have a natural pool on site).
  There are also plenty of nice walks and other wild swimming spots in the local area to explore.
  We are a very international community and have lots of friends visiting, so hopefully you will become part of the family and meet lots of inspiring, open minded people.

  Ayuda

  We are looking for people to help out on the daily tasks at the farm:
  
  - Creating and prepping new veggie beds
  - pruning trees and trimming grass
  - watering veggie garden in the evenings (there is a watering system, but some beds need to be watered with the hose.)
  - checking water level of natural pool, lake and veggie watering pool and if needed turn on the pump to fill up
  - preparing meals, sometimes alone, sometimes together
  - helping to clean after meals
  - driving and/or picking up Ianis from school (30 minutes away)
  - some playtime with the 2 little girls, mainly in the mornings
  - going shopping at the supermarket or weekend market in Tomar
  
  There is a cleaning lady coming 1 x a week, however it would be great as well to have help with keeping the farm organised. Such as, putting away toys, organising the playroom, organising the tool shed, etc.

  Alojamiento

  You will have your own room equipped with 2 single beds and/or be sleeping in a dormitory equipped with one single bed.
  The rooms have thick old stone walls to protect you during the summer against the heat and during the winter against the cold.
  Your kitchen will be the communal kitchen.
  Of course you are very welcome to use the whole community area of the farm, or join us in your own tent.
