We are Alpagut & Murat, the creators of our project.
We will accommodate campers, caravans, artists and will be place to host yoga and tai-chi camps as well as concerts. Also there will be an acre of organic garden and a small poultry house.
We are the two pals from the Faculty of Fine Arts and Cinema back in 1990s. We’d love to create and perform music and jam with guitar and percussion. We are now building our project within the olive grove of 6 acres at Sığacık, Seferihisar in Izmir. The neighbourhood has an ancient culture and history that goes back till Teos ancient city.

Volunteers can benefit the location since the ancient city Teos is 20 min. by walk. Ancent harbour and beach is 40 min. by walk and 20 min. by bike. The location is also on the bicycle routes to ancient city Teos.
Volunteers can also practice Turkish language in contact with the local people and taste the Aegean cuisine.
There are jam sessions in the garden with campfire very often. We welcome you to join our guitar and percussion jams.
Ephesus Ancient City is also nearby so that during the off-days the volunteers can pay a visit to House of Virgin Mary and the oldest bibliotheca at Ephesus.
We need 4 main areas to help with:
-Possibly with the knowledge of permaculture, we need volunteers to help in seeding heirloom in our garden and take care of the small poultry.
-We need help in the kitchen for cleaning and cooking for volunteers and the main team (not for paying guests) - 2 persons.
-Building DIY showers and toilets, especially with the knowledge of compost toilet.
-We also appreciate the yoga and tai-chi instructors and artists with creative ideas to support our projects.

Mainly accommodation will be in the tents for spring and summer time. Tents and bedding will be provided for the Workawayers.
For winter volunteers there will be options for rooms at the main house.
-The kitchen will be open for Workawayers to cook for their own food.
-The food will mainly be in responsibility of the Host.
-Once the garden have crops, the workawayers can have vegies & fruits.

Public transportation by bus is also available. Direct transportation to centre of Seferihisar is possible with a 5 min. walk to bus stop.
