  Hi, my name is Maria Elena and I live in Brescia, a small and beautiful city in northern Italy, near Milan, Verona, Lake Garda and Iseo, at the foot of the Pre-Alps. I am an architect and I teach technical subjects in the city prison. I really love doing gardening, vegetable gardening and hobby work even if unfortunately during the year I am very busy with work and with the house that I often neglect to spend good times with friends.
  
  
  Ciao, mi chiamo Maria Elena e abito a Brescia, una piccola e bella città del nord Italia, vicino a Milano, Verona, al lago di Garda e di Iseo, ai piedi delle Prealpi. Sono un architetto e insegno nel Carcere della città materie tecniche. Mi piace moltissimo fare lavori di giardinaggio, orto e hobbistica anche se purtroppo durante l'anno sono molto impegnata con il lavoro e con la casa che spesso trascuro per trascorrere dei bei momenti con gli amici.

My city is beautiful and rich in history as well as close to very beautiful places from a landscape point of view (lakes, mountains) and to cities rich in history and culture that you can easily reach by train.   Sono architetto e insegnante nelle scuole superiori....posso aiutarti ad imparare l'italiano ed accompagnarti a vedere alcune delle bellezze dalla città e dei dintorni. La mia città è bella e ricca di storia oltre che vicina a luoghi molto belli dal punto di vista paesaggistico (laghi, montagne) e a città ricche di storia e cultura che potrai raggiungere comodamente in treno. Posso farti conoscere qualche piatto della cucina italiana.

  I need help around the house, I've been moving for 5 years, but I still have things to fix (it's boring alone!!) items to restore, items to craft, 2 rooms to make habitable as well as minor maintenance jobs like fixing and painting a barbecue, put up a fence, arrange the garden tool shed, replace the stucco on the windows of a veranda. Unfortunately now I have an arm in a cast and a period of rehabilitation is also waiting for me, but the garden cannot wait for me!!! you could also help me in the garden and in the vegetable garden and also with some daily cleaning of the house. I have a lovely dog that you can help me walk.
  
  Ho bisogno di aiuto in casa, ho traslocato da 5 anni, ma ho ancora cose da sistemare (da sola è noioso!!) oggetti da restaurare, oggetti da creare, 2 stanze da rendere abitabili oltre a piccoli lavori di manutenzione come sistemare e dipingere un barbecue, mettere una rete di recinzione, sostituire lo stucco ai vetri di una veranda, dipingere il cassettone della camera.... . Purtroppo ora ho un braccio ingessato e mi aspetta anche un periodo di riabilitazione, ma orto e giardino non possono aspettarmi!!! potresti aiutarmi anche in giardino e nell'orto e anche con qualche pulizia quotidiana della casa. Ho un adorabile cane che potrai aiutarmi a portare in passeggiata.

  Alojamiento

  I live in a small house with a vegetable garden and garden. I live on the ground floor. Upstairs I have my design studio and a room (still to be arranged but already with a single bed) with a private bathroom. There is also a cooking area, but I would love it if we cooked and ate together. It is located in the south of the city connected by bus to the city center.
  
  Abito in una casetta con orto e giardino. Io vivo al piano terra. Al piano superiore ho il mio studio di progettazione e una stanza (ancora da sistemare!!! ma già con un letto singolo) con il bagno privato per te. C'è anche una zona cottura, ma mi piacerebbe molto se cucinassimo e mangiassimo insieme. Si trova nella zona sud della città collegata con l'autobus al centro città.

  Brescia has very ancient origins. It is possible to visit the Roman remains, the medieval and Renaissance part. In 2023 it will be Capital of Culture and many events are scheduled. There is a nice castle on the hill near the old town. It has a lively cultural and social life: there are cinemas, theaters, many clubs where live music is played. moreover it is close to many beautiful Italian cities (Milan, Verona, Bergamo, Mantua, Parma etc.), two hours by train from Venice and Turin, three hours from Florence.
  
  Brescia, ha origini molto antiche. È possibile visitare i resti romani, la parte medievale e rinascimentale. Nel 2023 è Capitale della Cultura e sono in programma tantissimi eventi. C'è un bel castello sulla collina, vicino al centro storico. Ha una vivace vita culturale e sociale: ci sono cinema, teatri, molti locali dove si fa musica dal vivo. Inoltre è vicina a tante belle città italiane (Milano, Verona, Bergamo, Mantova, Parma ecc), a due ore di treno da Venezia e Torino, a tre ore da Firenze.
