Nestled in the heart of the Alpujarras, our small family cortijo is a place where life follows the rhythm of the seasons. Every September, we harvest our almonds by hand, continuing a tradition rooted in the land and passed down through generations. Surrounded by mountain views, ancient trees, and peaceful silence, we welcome those looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, and experience the simple beauty of rural Andalucía. From blossom in spring to the almond harvest in autumn, every season has its own story to tell. We have 3 dogs and a few chickens who are all part of our family

More than a stay, we offer a genuine cultural exchange. Join us during the September almond harvest and again in December for the olive harvest, while experiencing life on a traditional Alpujarran cortijo. Learn how almonds are gathered, hear the stories behind generations-old farming practices, share homemade meals featuring local ingredients, and discover the customs, history, and slower pace of rural Andalucía. Whether you're helping in the orchard, enjoying conversations over coffee, or exploring nearby white villages, you'll leave with a deeper connection to the land, its people, and its traditions. We gather all our nuts and fruits to sustain us throughout the year.

General help, looking after the animals and help with the harvests. We are not a business, just farming the land as it has been done for centuries. You will be able to keep some of the produce collected.

Alojamiento
We offer a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay around our traditional cortijo, surrounded by the peaceful mountains of the Alpujarras. We would prefer that you have your own arrangements to camp or your own van, camper, electricity and water are provided. However, we can provide a tent, sleeping mat, and bedding.
Food is an important part of life here. We provide shared meals using fresh, seasonal ingredients whenever possible, including produce from our garden and locally sourced products. During the almond harvest, meals are a chance to relax together, exchange stories, and enjoy traditional Andalusian cooking. We are happy to accommodate most dietary requirements if you let us know in advance.
Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where everyone feels at home while sharing in the daily rhythms of life on a small, working cortijo. -
