Yipun visited us for one week this summer, and we really enjoyed having her here. She is a very nice and friendly person, and she quickly saw where her help was needed the most. She worked quickly and independently and she is an amazing cook! She also took a lot of photographs here for me, and she is very good at catching the beauty with her
… read more camera in little details that you would not really notice yourself. I can use the photos for my marketing, but they are also a dear memory of her staying here. But most important, she was a great inspiration for me, because she is really dedicated about organic products and local produce, and it was so interesting to hear about her organic bakery in Bangkok. We hope to see her again!

I spent just a week with Jytte and Søren but it was one of my most precious and beautiful Workaway experiences!❤️ With their loving and caring hearts, I felt like home since the first they I arrived. Jytte always made sure that I had a wonderful stay and didn't work too much so I had enough time to relax, they are just super nice and kind. For the
… read more farm, to be honest their organic farm is one of the most beautiful farms I've ever seen, and I can feel how much they put their love into the land. I helped them in the garden (my paradise), walked the adorable dogs and also with taking photos, when we have free time, we talked, had lunch/dinner together ( their food are sooo delicious! especially picking ingredients from the farm!) They also taught me Danish which I did enjoy (and want to learn more! hehe) The place is very peaceful, surrounded by pure nature and very charming for me, I feel so grateful to have a chance to meet such wonderful hosts, they have inspired me a lot, and I can't wait to get back and learn more with them. Thank you so much for having me! Mange tak!❤️

Hana stayed with us for a couple of weeks in July '23, and we enjoyed it very much! She was very enthusiastic about helping and helped with many different things in the garden. She is a person with many creative skills - she helped me making flower bouquets, learned very fast and had a lot of new ideas that I never thought of before. On her own
… read more initiative she also painted one of the old cupboards that i use as an 'honesty box' beside the road for selling flowers.And she did it beautifully! - With perfectly painted text and logo and chalkboard paint inside for writing messages on.(Another one of her good ideas!) I now look at it every day and am reminded of Hana :-)
But most important, she is a very nice and friendly person! Oh, and did I mention that she is very good at cooking too? :-) Hope to see you again, Hana!

I can´t be thankful enough for all the kindness, knowledge I received from Jytte, Søren and other family members! 1000 times thank you, Jytte, that I could help with flower picking and making flower buckets and lot of the tips and informations about them! I felt like in heaven! :) Apart from working with flowers I was helping a bit also in garden,
… read more for example with weeding, rescuing eucalyptus from falling down :-) and preparing a shelf for a little shop near the road :) they have. During my free time and free days I was travelling a lot in Denmark and I am very grateful, that I could! Jytte and Søren are very caring, they will make sure you have everything you need! They cooked for us such nice warm :) meals I was enjoying a lot!

I spent four wonderful weeks together with Jytte and Søren and their three dogs Frida, Freya and Luna. Jytte and Søren were so kind and hospitable and immediately made me feel at home. We had a lot of fun and great conversations and I am very grateful for the trust, warmth and openness that was shown to me. The farm itself is a very peaceful and
… read more quiet place and I enjoyed taking the dogs for long walks in the surrounding nature. I also learned a lot about gardening during my Workaway stay and since we planted a lot it was always fascinating to see how fast a small seed turned into a plant. I came to Denmark with my bike, so I was very flexible reaching different locations nearby, but you can also take a walk to Bramming (about 1 hr 15 minutes) and take a train from there to Ribe (Denmark's oldest town, beautiful cathedral, Vadehavscentret), Esbjerg (from there you can take the very to the island Fanø), København, Aarhus etc.
By the way, you should definitely try Fløderboller (preferably from Ribe or Skagen) while your staying with Jytte and Søren!

Freya and I spent about a week with Jytte and Søren. We would have extended our stay if it would have been possible because we instantly felt good there. We did some weeding in the garden, some harvesting for Jytte's little shop and painted some signs for her shop as well. The work was not too hard and we had the weekend off to go see Ribe. We
… read more relaxed during the days with a book in the garden, took walks with their three dogs (super cute) and had very nice and long talks with Jytte and Søren. We also had the chance to go out riding with their horse and the horse from the neighbours, who were very nice as well. We got along very well with their oldest daughter Helen, who visited during the weekend.

… read more quick learner and a bit of a perfectionist, finishing everything that she has started. She loves animals, and our dogs adored her.
She came into our home and accepted things as they were, a most friendly and easy guest to have. Besides we learned a lot about Belgium from her which was very interesting.

I stayed with Jytte, Søren and Emil for a month, from mid septembre to mid october 2018. This was my first ever Work Away experience and it was perfect.
The family in itself was very great, they made me feel at home from the first day. Jytte is incredibly nice and so helpful, she would always explain to me what exactly needed to be done and also
… read more help me make plans to visit the area. And she is a incredible cook ! Søren had more trouble understanding english but it was still possible to make conversation and to understand each other. He is a very calm person but fun to be around. Beware that he will take pictures of you ! Emil is a very shy person and is hiding in his room a lot of the time. But, when he is around, he is a very funny and can become a good friend. I also got to meet Jytte and Søren's two daughters and they also were very nice ! Helena is more outgoing and Iben is shy as well.
They have lots of animals. The 3 dogs were incredible to be around, they have a lot of energy so it is always good to have them around you in the garden. They are very loving and it is easy to love them back. The cat, Nutella, had just gotten kittens which were adorable. There are also hens, a duck and a horse, Jack.
The work in itself wasnt hard or complicated and actually quite fun at times ! I did a lot of different things such as pruning the tomatoes, renovate an old cabinet, take out the weeds, take care of the dogs and walk them, clean around the house, etc. It was 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week so there was a lot of down time to enjoy a cup of tea with Søren and Jytte or visit the area.
I really recommend going there if you are interested in farm work and meeting amazing new people ! I personally am looking forward to going back and seeing them all again !Solo puedes ponerte en contacto con workawayers con membresías activas.
