Hej! I have a small homestead with an artesan bakery on the premises and need some help with domestic tasks, gardening, animal care (horses, sheep, chicken, dogs) and maintenance of the property. The farm is helping my family to be selfsufficient in vegetables, eggs and meat but not as a business. It is situated in beautiful countryside some 40 km from capitalcity Helsinki. You would not work in the bakery business, only help me with everyday farmcare, household tasks like cleaning and also some projects around the place. The animals are friendly and life is very easygoing , but the work is also neverending. If you like a simple lifestyle and like to do things with your hands ,cleaning sheds, cutting grass, mending and building fences, cutting wood and chopping it, If you like in your freetime to roam around in forests, pick wild berries and mushrooms, maybe go trekking with the horses and swim in a lake here will be something for you !

The place is situated near a lot of cultural and historical sites and places. All that Helsinki can offer is 30 minutes away. Finnish life in all its simplicity near to nature with forests and lake and sea nearby. Ofcourse there is a sauna also. I am an artesanbaker, so some learning of baking skills is also possible, or if you have the skills, we can exchange knowledge !

Great if you have gardening skills, preferrably into permacultural and regenerative thinking. You should be used to animals and big dogs as you would take care of the dogs sometimes. Great if you can ride but not necessary. You must not be afraid of hard or dirty work. I hope you are friendly,easygoing and openminded, as there can be a little chaotic here sometimes. It would be nice if you are french or spanish as I would like to learn those languages, but everyone is welcome :-). Drivers licence is a must. Projects and tasks for now are a little painting and renovating inside the house , building shelters on the pastures and taking down old fences and building new ones. Also emptying the sheepshed and getting the manure out on the field. And the digging of a pond.

I would like to enhance my french and also start learning spanish. As I am fluent in finnish, swedish and english I can help you with learning those, not on a professional level though.
Small room in family house, shared bathroom and kitchen. Possibility to eat together but also need to manage by yourself as I have a lot of evening work.
Suitable for one person, couple, friends, children. But note the amount of animals, some roaming free. No smoking in house , and preferrably not anywhere on the premises due to fire and animals.Lots of historical sites, museums, theaters, exhibitions, markets. I am also happy to accompany you to all these kinds of things as I have had very little time for such things the past thirty years,,,
