  We are a couple that have built a small family homestead on wild land in the beautiful rural Estonia.
  So far, we are three years here and have built our beautiful cabin home, 3 stables, a well house, poly tunnel and greenhouse, chicken coop (chicken mansion) and a safe run for when we’re not home, an outhouse composting toilet, workstations, some outbuildings and animal field shelters, fenced areas of pasture and gardens. Built a small veg garden and areas for growing food, a fire pit to cook and share food and spend time around playing the guitar and enjoying a small fire. Wood storage and chopping station and areas of flower beds and bushes.
  We have some rescued animals and wish to continue building our homestead, to grow more food and flowers, become more self sufficient, to live more natural and more in tune with Mother Nature and the seasons.
  To enable us to rescue more animals and of course, to share our beautiful place, our land and woodlands with like minded people.
  
  Whilst building our cabin, we lived in our self converted camper van and now we wish to offer this as accommodation for someone, or an other couple, wishing to share some of our journey with us.
  To enjoy the nature and rural life here with us and help us to continue to grow.
  Skills exchange, accommodations and access to our home grown goods and fruits will be provided.
  We speak Estonian and English.

  We can offer Estonian and English lessons and language practice.
  All of our self taught skills from living here for the last 3yrs and the knowledge we have gained from trial and error and making mistakes will be shared.
  We will also happily take you on tours around Estonia on days off and show you the beautiful sights and history.
  Estonian cuisine and cookery lessons can also be given.

  We would like nature and outdoor loving people. People who are animal lovers and those interested in food gardening. To help us with the never ending list of projects we have around our homestead.
  Natural building, landscaping, garden building, fencing, forestry work, regeneration of the land. Planting of trees and maintaining the fruit and older trees on the property.
  Animal rescue and husbandry.
  Training of young horses.
  Help with installing water pipes from the newly drilled bore hole, to the cabin, the bus and the animals shelters.
  Weatherproofing and insulating areas.
  Building some small guest cabins and creating a camp site.
  Installing a septic system and some dry toilets.
  General gardening and grass maintenance. Treating and wood staining work, ideas for new buildings and places to relax etc.
  Building below ground greenhouse and natural cob techniques.
  Skills with passive solar and water collection systems.
  Craft ideas, creating a fairy garden and magical forest area, painting, art and decor for inside and outside areas.
  Sauna build!! Build it and use it!
  People skilled in food production, food preserving, storing and cooking are encouraged. We love food and love to feed people and are very interested in food from around the world too.
  Those who are into natural remedies and natures medicine, I would love to skill share in this area, there’s so much to learn and so many amazing remedies that are freely available to us all.
  Yoga and relaxation, meditation and use of essential oils.

  Alojamiento

  Self converted mini bus camper van.
  Double bed and a separate double bed pull out. The bus has electric and gas cooking facilities. Log burning stove for the colder months. There are clothing drawers, a full set up kitchen and a small fridge with little freezer compartment.
  Access to composting toilet and cold water washing facilities. Outdoor solar shower. (The showering facilities are soon to be improved)

  During time off you will be free to wander around our 5acre property. With access to our orchard and veg gardens.
  We also have a 1.5 acre forest that needs a lot of TLC, you will be free to wander around that also.
  On days off we will take you into town or drop you at our local bus/train station.
  We will happily accompany you to take you on a tour if you wish.
  Showing you some of what our beautiful country has to offer.
  You are free to access the majority of our property and will have you own space to relax and kick back. There is also a place for you to park a vehicle if you have your own.
  We like to have our privacy on an evening and so there is a small area that would be out of bounds.
  Any time that we are cooking outside or relaxing around our fire pit, you are free to join us.
  Working hours and days are very flexible and most times we will give various types of work needing to be completed. For you to choose from. Most of the time it will be helping us with the projects and work we are doing.
  Our animals are mostly free range and the dogs and chickens especially have access everywhere, this needs to be considered. They are all friendly however.

  We have a wifi connection that can be used for online workers that wish to work on thier own projects during hours/days off. This is accessible in and around our cabin, so can be used with prior arrangements or if you are happy to seat yourself in the outdoor sitting area and can connect from there, that’s no problem either. We have requested from our provider a booster element for our router and will install that once it arrives. This should increase the area that the wifi can be accessed from.

  There is parking available for campers, buses and motor homes. We can also provide space for someone wanting to camp in a tent or other shelter. We can provide electric hook up and access to water.

  Cats and smaller caged pets are very welcome. We also welcome well behaved dogs but they must stay in thier own area. It’s is absolutely essential they are obedient and friendly around other animals for the safety of our resident animals and themselves. Owners must clean up after them.
