Quinta is a cacao farm nestled in the Ecuadorian Amazon, 12 km from Puyo city in the province of Pastaza. Our lovely place offers to the visitors an authentic experience in the world of cacao production, sustainability, responsible farming without leaving aside the chance to learn the rich culture of Ecuador. No matter if you are exploring the surroundings, visiting natural sites, or working on the farm, Quinta touch your heart and makes you get an unforgettable experience in one of the regions with the most biodiverse in the world. At Quinta, the travelers will have the chance to get involved in cultural exchanges with people of the nearby communities. Ricardo, the manager of the volunteers program, has been working close to the people of the Amazon indigenous nationalities as a naturalist guide so he has an extensive knowledge a of the Amazon's biodiversity. He will be responsible for ensuring that visitors have an enriching experience.

Workawayers will be crucial for the development of our cacao production by giving us a hand with tasks that are important in agriculture such as pruning, pest control and harvesting. As hosts, we are committed to offer to the visitors the opportunity to gain knowledge and to get experience applying sustainable agricultural practices while learning about the Amazonian culture.

We have a room whit a private bathroom inside the house of the owners for the moment, ideal for one person or couple we will provide the three meals per day.

The visitors will work 5 hours a day, preferably in the morning so they can take advantage of having the afternoon free to do extra activities and explore the area. Activities such as hiking, birdwatching, swimming are possible to do as our farm is surrounded by beautiful places. To go to the city, the visitors can walk for 30 minutes to the main highway and take a bus for 20 minutes to get to Puyo, or we can ride them in our car. They can only leave at night on Saturdays.
