    Who are we ?

This is an international organization dedicated to sharing the teachings of the Spiritual Heart, mostly through silent meditation and Hatha Yoga.

Our French arm was founded as a non-profit association in 2017 mostly thanks to donations and devoted volunteer work from generous souls.

To this day, the center operates based on the Karma Yoga spirit, with approximately 20 volunteers and 15 staff members. We all live on-site together, and our community plays an essential role in fostering an atmosphere of introspection, dedication, and compassion. This attitude is fundamental in supporting a harmonious environment at our center, the "Château de Longeval", allowing our students to fully immerse themselves in the offerings.

For 1st timers volunteers we ask for a specific commitment period of 5 months:
From 14th of February 2027 until 18th of July 2027.
If our dates don't exactly fit with your availability, we are open to discussion.

Here are some important elements of the Karma Yoga agreement:

New Karma Yogis commit to staying for a full 5-months Karma Yoga cycle.
Karma Yogis commit to being part of a service team for 5 hours per day, 5 days per week.
Everyone staying on-site attends daily morning meditation from 7:00-8:00 am—this is a fundamental part of our practice.
Karma Yogis are also offered to participate (for free) in our core program: the Hatha Yoga Module 1 Intensive. This means attending to morning and afternoon yoga classes, as well as inspiring evening lectures - according to your schedule availability.
If you have already completed Module 1, they will be able to join Module 2. It is also welcome (and encouraged!) to repeat Module 1 sessions.
Karma Yogis take part in our weekly Bhajans&Kirtans (devotional singing evenings)
Karma Yogis are offered spiritual support in many forms: from our uplifting sangha (community), various teachings and spaces designed for the Karma Yogis, as well as support from experienced teachers.

What will be your mission ?

Help us turn our 10-hectare castle grounds into an oasis of biodiversity, beauty and abundance, producing food and medicine for the community and our guests.
Depending on your skills and interests, you'll get your hands in the soil across our vegetable and flower gardens (managed on permaculture principles), syntropic food forests and nursery, herbalism project, and the landscaping of edible ornamental gardens, paths and practice decks.
This year's projects also include extending the vegetable gardens, installing a greenhouse, a regenerative water management, building a pond, building a solar herb dryer and expanding the food forests.
There is also plenty of room to bring your own ideas and creativity to life.
