Help us with eco renovation projects in Douadic, France

• 

  Descripción

  We are a british-french couple renovating an old french farmhouse with outbuildings and some land (4000m2).
  
  We have two rentals here, an eco cabin with a dry toilet and a yurt style tent.
  
  We want it to be as eco as possible so we are using reclaimed materials as much as possible. We have plans to set up a place for others to stay (camping), renovate another small house ecologically, and do creative workshops (music, yoga, cooking).
  
  We hope to build a sauna in a caravan we have.
  
  We have a potager where we are trying to use permaculture principles (no dig).
  
  We are open to ideas for projects!

  I’m English, and my partner is French so we can exchange languages!
  
  I’m also a trained Yoga guide, with a masters in Medical Anthropology and South Asian studies, and he is a professional musician so we can exchange these skills too.

  Alojamiento

  We have a studio room with a double bed, or space for camping if you prefer.
  We can provide a simple breakfast (serving yourself) and nutritious vegetarian meals for Lunch and dinner.
  
  We like to rotate with cooking responsibilities to share the cooking and to keep it interesting!
  
  On non-working days,e.g. Saturday and Sunday we kindly ask that you make your own meals from supplies or eat out locally ☺️
  
  We also ask that you pitch in and participate with general household tasks keeping things tidy, like loading and unloading the dishwasher, wiping surfaces etc) and helping once a week with cleaning and taking the bins / recycling / compost.

  If you love the quiet of nature and wildlife, this is your spot! We’re like a little bubble where you can really feel calm.
  There’s many walks, lakes and things to do and see nearby. We have bikes to cycle around and plenty of private places to relax when you’re not working with us.
