We are a sociable family of three. Besides being a teacher, I am the owner of an English center in Thailand, while my husband is a practicing otolaryngologist and a medical school lecturer in Thailand too. Our son has just relocated to the United States for his studies, hence I sometimes fly back and forth between Thailand and the USA just to see him. He has just got enrolled in a U.S. high school.
In my absence from Thailand, my assistant along with the team take care of welcoming the volunteers and making sure everything goes on without a hitch. I am still communicating and collaborating with my volunteers via online means. We are very much into having fun with people from different parts of the world, cooking together, and telling stories over meals made from quality food. I had good experience with all my previous volunteers.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Thailand is full of colorful festivals and celebrations that show the heart of our culture and traditions. Some come from Buddhist beliefs, some from old local customs, and all of them are fun to see and join. You can travel around on your free days. Fell free to ask me if you need help to plan your trip.
While you’re here, you’ll get a taste of everyday Thai life — trying local food, learning a few Thai words, and exploring the neighborhood.
I sometimes travel between Thailand and the U.S. to visit my son, so when I’m away my assistant will stop by on weekends to check that everything’s okay. She can also take you to the local market to buy local food. My husband works a lot during the week, so you’ll have plenty of privacy and quiet time. He usually comes home on weekends. He loves to buy you new food for you to try. We try our best to make sure the house is ready and comfortable so you can relax and enjoy your stay.Proyectos con niños

Native English speakers are the people we are searching for: those that enjoy children's company and those that wish to share their language with kids in a playful manner. The majority of the help will be at our little English school. You may take part in short conversation or activity classes along with Thai students. No teaching qualifications are required — just share your friendly nature and be ready to talk, play games, or read simple stories with the kids. If you are a beginner with no teaching credentials, that's fine! We will instruct you and make it achievable.
Once in a while, we might also appreciate a little assistance at home — keeping everything neat and organized or helping with sorting pictures and data. It is a very easy-going environment and my staff is always around just in case you need help. We simply want our volunteers to enjoy their time with the students and the family, and not to feel under any pressure.
Regular classes are generally held on weekends but the timetable could vary slightly from month to month. English Camp students (March, April, May, and October) also have weekday classes filled with fun activities, usually not too different from the regular classes.
If there is anything you would like to know, do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We have had many volunteers in the past, and we have had nothing but fun times together — a lot of laughs and great memories!Idiomas

I love to learn new languages.Alojamiento
You’ll have your own private room with air-conditioning, right next to the bathroom. The big room has a sofa bed and an extra mattress, the small room has only one bed so you can set it up however you like and make it comfy for yourself.
You’re welcome to use our kitchen anytime. It’s simple and feels just like home. Our lovely maid can help cook easy Thai food, or you can cook whatever you like. We provide simply local Thai food that different from tourist destinations.
We keep some basic ingredients at home, but you might want to get your favorite drinks like milk, coffee, or tea. There’s a 7-Eleven about five minutes’ walk away where you can grab snacks and anything else you need. The gym is 5 minutes away but you need to pay to get in. It’s cheap and quiet.
The house is quiet and cozy — a nice place to relax after spending the day with the students. 🌿Algo más...

Davin is a wonderful person. Although he doesn’t have prior experience teaching English, he did a great job. He connects with kids effortlessly, including my son, and creates a positive atmosphere. Additionally, he’s skilled in chess and sports, which the kids really enjoyed. Thank you so much for your… read more
