We loved hosting Mathis and Lorena for 2 weeks at our home in Maleny. They are both very mature and fun loving people and were a pleasure to have in our home. No job was too big or too small, and they were amazing cooks! Would definitely recommend them to anyone considering hosting :) They were a great help with general cleaning, gardening duties

We stayed at Sians and Cormacs home for 2 weeks and it was the best workaway experience we could have imagined. 🤩While planning they were flexible and very helpful! We felt very comfy the whole stay, they drove us to the coast on our days off and helped where they can to make it part of our trip. The workdays/ jobs were always clear and good to

They were always open for a conversation and made sure we feel welcomed. 🤗Our room and the whole house were amazing and definitely big enough for some privacy if you need some. Max and Paddy, their kids were super cute and always open for some playtime. Flo, the aupair, was a great addition to the family, always helping where he could . He also dropped us of at the coast or drove us to the busstation in Maleny when we needed it. Maleny is a beautiful place to see and definitely a visit worth! To sum it up it was a wonderful addition to our trip!:) We would really recommend this family for a workaway stay! 😍

I stayed for two weeks with Sian, Cormac and their kids and had an amazing time. Maleny is a beautiful green city, next to the Sunshine Coast and the Glasshouse Mountains. The house is a bit out of Maleny, so a car would be good - but I also managed to get around without, thanks to Sian, Cormac and Amelys (the Au pair) who always tried to drive me
… read more to the bus stop, train station or city. I visited the Mary Cairncross Reserve (subtropical rainforest), one of the Glass House Mountains, the Australian Zoo and the sunshine coast (Mooloolaba and Noosa - there I even saw dolphins!). It takes some time to get around with the bus/train, but it's possible. One time Amelys even took me to the beach to try to give me a surf lesson.
The jobs I did were not that hard and varied. I worked in the garden (weeding, planting, trimming the hedges & pressure cleaning the deck) and also in the house (cleaning the pantry, laundry and some cupboards).
Sian and Cormac have always been nice and their boys are really lovely and easy to be around with.
I would definitely recommend going there!

We loved having Miyu stay with us! She was so kind and helpful, no job was too big or too small! She did an amazing job cleaning, organising and helping out with our busy life! We thoroughly enjoyed her Japanese cooking too! Thanks Miyu!

Ola was an incredible addition to our house for her 10 day stay. She had amazing attention to detail, no job was too big or too small. I especially appreciated her initiative, as she was always helping with little tasks without being asked. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay with Sian, Cormac and their lovely little boys.
I was happy to help with tasks they gave me, which were simple and enjoyable. The work varied each day, from house cleaning to gardening. During my stay I felt really comfortable and relaxed the whole time. I was given a beautiful bedroom and there was no food restrictions.

The marvellous au pair, Corinne, made my stay in Maleny even more memorable and awesome.

it was my first time doing workaway .. my 10 day stay at their house was amazing! I loved how flexible they were with how I spread the hours of work. really enjoyed just spending time with the family around the house, especially at dinner time. they made me feel super welcome and comfortable!

Our stay in Sian and Cormac’s house was really amazing. We shared really good moments with the whole family. They always made sure that everything was going well and that we were comfortable in their home. We shared a lot over carefully prepared meals.
