We are an organic care farm on the beautiful Sharpham estate in South devon.
We manage the land for conservation, wildlife and have just taken on some more land to run a rewilding project.During the week adults with learning disabilities come to the farm for training and day care.
We host international trainees learning about conservation who stay in our accommodation barn.
We are very close to the diverse and lovely town of Totnes and are close to the moors and Coast.

It is a vibrant place, with lots of people to talk to. Spending time on a farm that is organic, managed for conservation. Charitable objectives and spending time with different groups of people. Beautiful area, close to sea and moors. Totnes is an alternative town with lots going on.

At the beginning of 2022 we will be expanding the accommodation and building a new space that will serve as a open plan kitchen/dining/sitting room allowing us to increase capacity in the sleeping space.
We are also working to finish the new forestry barn and machinery store. Whilst also ensuring the animals and vegetable garden are thriving and growing.
So we would love any help with this and the main focus will be on the building projects and farm infrastructure. Experience of using tools would be greatly received and we can also train.

A single room in the accomodation barn. Shared communal area and kitchen in the bunkhouse. We ask that you get involved in the shared cooking, communal evening meals and rotas to ensure smooth running and culture sharing/community.
Close to the moors and sea. Totnes a great diverse town.
