  Me and my 7 years old daugher are currently looking for house/pet-sitter(s) for our dog, Cactus and our house in Lavagnac, a small village in the Gironde, 35 km from Bordeaux. The nearest supermarket is about 6 kms away - an easy bike ride. The village boasts a wonderful bakery, a pizzeria, a tabac and a pharmacy. The river Dordogne flows through the village and is very close to our hearts.
  
  Our gorgeous dog Cactus (german pointer) needs some company while we are away. He is very affectionate, he loves long walks. This opportunity will allow you to experience life in a house set in the bordeaux’s vineyards. It's a perfect place to detox, read or work remotely. The key requirements are: looking after our dog (not leaving him alone for a night), walk him every day and co-existing with our house. You will require some practical skills and common sense and we would like any house-sitter to live with us for at least 3 days before leaving you alone. This will allow us to show you around the house and develop trust.
  
  We have bikes you can use and we live in a quaint French village with a population of 1200 people. We also have nice neighbourgs you can contact if you have any questions during our absence. There is a train station in Saint Emilion (5 km) where you can take the train to Bordeaux.
