… read more the group of workawayers I lived in the flat with. My days here were pretty much full from start to finish. From hiking the mind-blowing pyrenees and swimming in freezing lakes to dancing in the bi-weekly concerts and the festival to working shifts in the kitchen or garden, every moment was spilling over with the energy of life. Thank you Rupert and the rest of the team for the best end to my summer I could ask for.

Amazing place. The whole team is wonderful, they always welcome you with a smile. There are so many things to do in your free time, mountain excursions and if you are lucky and you are in the right time you can participate in the various festivals that are in Ariege. A beautiful experience that I will not forget.

This was my first Workaway ever and I loved every second of it!
I think the best thing about it was that I made some of my bestfriends from all over the globe in it. The team was very nice and we had so much fun, even when we were working. After that we had so many options for our free time. The nature there is breath-taking, so even a short walk

I had a fabulous time here, I've never danced so much and eaten so many tomatoes. I stayed for the festival and it was amazing, I met so many interesting people and the scenery is breath taking too.

I'm a bit late writing this but I spent a great few weeks here this summer and had the best time! It was my first workaway experience and I don't think I could have gotten any luckier. The work was varied and fair; I was mostly helping in the kitchen which I really enjoyed but there was also some gardening and general helping out around the place
… read more as well. Everybody on the team was really friendly and supportive - there's a really strong sense of community. The accommodation is in an apartment with the other workawayers where you can do all your own cooking etc and the views are beautiful. There's loads of opportunities for hiking and exploring the area so if you like the outdoors this place is great!

Absolutely an awesome place managed by awesome people. All the team is super super nice, the environment is awesome (I couldn't get use to the view from the volunteers house, it's so beautiful to wake up in the middle of the mountains with the sunrise). I have been working at the place only for two weeks but I had a great time here in Bonac! I enjoyed the work, which evolved around setting up the circustent in the first week. … read more community vibe at the inn, people were very welcoming and I felt part of the team, even though I don't speak French. I did have to get used to the fact that 90% of the time everyone speaks French (even if some can speak English), but I really appreciated the people that put effort in speaking English with me. I had a great time here. The people I was working with were all really nice and the work as varied generally fun. The accommodation was excellent (in a little village called Irazaen) and the food was great too. … read more There’s a small market at the hostel on Thursday and there’s lots of little towns, villages and walks nearby. 8 stayed for two and half weeks before I moved onto Spain and would absolutely love to go back one day. I stayed a month there, and had really good time doing many different tasks: gardenning, cooking, serving at the bar, picking blueberries and making jam with. I felt like a part of the team, and really liked the spirit of the association and of the people living around.

I enjoyed great conversations and lively evenings with concerts and community spirit.
