Starting May 20th!!! Ending June 4th
Join me this spring for a wonderful time building stuff, learning a lot and making memories. I'm studying in The Netherlands, but have nearly a month off to host workawayers in central Italyyy. I've been learning with my family from the land, and working to create richer more resilient valley where nature can take root and prosper. Starting this May (2024), I have many projects that could use your help! on Sunny days we would plant sprouts do some forest management, make fires, and food! these projects aim to make gezellig cozy places. we have started with swales, and soil building but plan on doing more! we are working to build a greenhouse, learning about cob or raw earth structures. the Work also includes cataloging trees, grafting, pruning, and making our biggest garden yet (still relatively small). Do you know about food forests, syntropic farming, bees?? On rainy days there are also projects in the house, for painting, and other creative projects such as carpentry, land art, recycling, and more!!Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

My family is well traveled, with stories to share. evenings can consist of sitting by the fire and reflecting, and talking and dancing. I'm more than sure that lengthy conversations will take place by our fire pit, at night. Memories and biochar is made during these magical times.

If you enjoy beautiful views, nearby hiking trails, and working with the land, you will enjoy it here. We have an olive grove, fruit orchard, hazelnuts, and a wild area we call the enchanted forest! If you have experience with gardening or pruning, we'd love your input. Anything permaculture-esc, I would love to incorporate your ideas into the land. As I am just starting, organisation may be a bit haphazard, but its all part of the process. I want to help you help me help you. I plan to plant many trees in the area to mitigate the effects of summer drought. I will need help with pruning, planting, digging swales, and baking biochar and anything else!

We are in the process of renovating a nearby house. in the early stages, the room in which the guests would stay would be on the bottom floor of where we live, but later on, guests could be hosted in the nearby house. For now there is hot water with meh pressure. WIFI, a bed, indoor and large outdoor area.
Algo más...
on the property itself, we have a lot of boardgames, books, art supplies, and some cool gadgets. In Viterbo there is a lot to do, and see, which is only a bus or taxi ride away, the town has events, markets, tourists, and historical sights, (some Catch 22 scenes were filmed there) as well as an international community.
