  We are a couple living in Tenerife in the mountains on 1.150 meters, we have a finca of about 7.000 square meters and we are often abroad and need help to look after the garden with about 50 fruit trees, a vegetable garden and a flower garden. The place is fabulous, quiet, in the mountains.

  Quiet and natural environment, trees all around, walking tracks, the two neighbours passing by in the weekend, some people walking by to go to one of the various tracks above our house and another neighbour that passes regularly in the week as he has some 2.000 square meters of potatoes.
  
  An experience suitable for those who like this slow life, spend most of your time in nature, and live simply
  
  We are happy to show Workawayers how we enjoy this countryside living, simple and sustainable lifestyle, we are not connected to the grid, neither to water or cable, water is in a 100k liter tank which is regularly filled by a fountain of which we are co owners, electricity is from solar panels, and we grow vegetables and neighbours give us also fruits and vegetables and sometimes meat from their own cattle. So you learn how to be less dependant, and enjoy gardening and daily routines connected to nature.
  
  Depending on the season, you can learn about growing food, maintaining the land, making marmelades from the fruits as there is too much to eat anyway, cooking homemade meals, and living more self-sufficiently. BBQ with the neighbours in our or their house, or just the BBQ on our site.
  
  We also love learning from our guests, culture, language, skills, recipes, and life experiences. We like to create beautiful connections, mutual respect, and a an atmosphere where everyone feels part of the family.
  
  Our home is best suited for open-minded people who enjoy sharing, learning, and being part of a slower, way of living.
  
  My husband is a lawyer, working in what I call his world, and for him this site is the perfect place to concentrate and focus deeply and when ready for the day relax deeply by working in the garden.
