  Hello, fellow horse lovers and nature enthusiasts!
  
  My tiny little farm with an open stable for two horses is located in the border region between Salzburg (approx. 60 km),
  Passau (approx. 50 km), and Linz (approx. 85 km) in the foothills of the Alps in Upper Austria.
  
  I live in a beautiful country-style house with two apartments, a garden (including a vegetable garden), and approximately 5,000 m² of farmland.
  
  I am currently looking for cheerful and attentive volunteers to help out on my small, private farm for at least two weeks to one month. (This is not a commercial operation.)
  
  Loving and reliable care around my house and garden is the foundation of our collaboration.
  
  Equally important to me is a trusting, caring, and attentive approach to my two horses.
  
  This means I would be especially happy to invite someone who is passionate about helping with the upkeep of the house and garden. This includes tending to the flowering plants and weeding, caring for the small vegetable garden, and also maintaining the living spaces and the grounds around the house. Practical skills are highly desirable. Especially now in spring and summer, everything is sprouting and waiting to be cared for.
  
  ABOUT ME
  
  I (Johanna) am a vocational school teacher by profession and combine my tiny little farm with my teaching job. My small farm is privately run and is home to me and my horses. They are my passion and part of my family.
  
  I love adventure and have taken many wonderful trips to different continents. The contact with the locals has always been a great enrichment and joy for me. The moment I brought my horses home, my travels changed fundamentally. I traveled less, but now the travelers come to me. Through these exchanges and conversations, there is often an opportunity to grow and get a little closer to oneself – and that's exactly what I love so much.
  
  And I love nature and my connection to it. Treating her and my horses with care is very important to me. My horses are very dear to my heart.

  Hallo, liebe Pferdefreunde und Naturliebhaber!
  
  Mein klitzekleiner Hof mit einem Offenstall für zwei Pferde liegt im Länderdreieck zwischen Salzburg (ca. 60 km),
  Passau (ca. 50 km) und Linz (ca. 85 km) im Voralpengebiet in OÖ.
  Ich lebe in einem wunderschönen Haus im Landhausstil mit zwei Wohneinheiten, einem Garten
  (inkl. Gemüsegarten) und einer landwirtschaftlichen Fläche von etwa 5.000 m2.
  
  Derzeit suche ich fröhliche und achtsame Freiwillige für mind. zwei Wochen bis ein Monat zur Mithilfe auf meinem kleinen, privaten Hof. (Kein gewerblicher Betrieb.)
  
  Eine liebevolle, verlässliche Pflege rund um mein Haus und im Haus ist die Grundlage unserer Zusammenarbeit.
  Ebenso ist mir ein vertrauensvoller, fürsorglicher und achtsamer Umgang mit meinen beiden Pferden sehr wichtig.
  
  Das bedeutet, dass ich mich besonders freue, jemanden einzuladen, dem das Engagement bzw. die Pflege rund ums Haus und den Garten ein Anliegen sind. Dazu zählen die Pflege der Blühpflanzen bzw. das Jäten, die Pflege des kleinen Gemüsegartens, aber auch die Pflege der Wohnräume und der Außenanlage rund ums Haus. Handwerkliches Geschick ist sehr erwünscht. Gerade jetzt im Frühling und Sommer sprießt alles und wartet auf Pflege.
  
  
  ÜBER MICH
  Ich (Johanna) bin von Beruf Berufsschullehrerin und vereine meinen klitzekleinen Hof mit meiner Arbeit als Lehrerin. Mein kleiner Hof wird rein privat geführt und ist das Zuhause für mich und meine Pferde. Sie sind meine Herzensangelegenheit und Teil meiner Familie.
  Ich liebe das Abenteuer und habe schon viele, sehr schöne Reisen auf verschiedenen Kontinenten gemacht. Dabei war mir der Kontakt zu den Einheimischen immer eine sehr große Bereicherung und Freude. In dem Moment, als ich meine Pferde nach Hause holte, änderte sich mein Reisen natürlich grundlegend. Das Reisen wurde weniger, aber nun kommen die Reisenden zu mir. Im Austausch, bei vielen Gesprächen, ergibt sich oftmals die Chance, zu wachsen und sich selbst ein Stückchen näher zu kommen. – Genau das liebe ich so sehr.
  Und ich liebe die Natur und die Naturverbundenheit. Ein achtsamer Umgang mit ihr sowie mit meinen Pferden ist mir sehr wichtig. Meine Pferde sind mir eine große Herzensangelegenheit.

  I love interacting with different people (through volunteers) and cultures from different countries, and I love getting to know their way of thinking.
  
  
  REQUIREMENTS
  To help out on my tiny little private courtyard, you need to be physically and mentally fit!
  It’s important that you enjoy helping out around the house and in the garden.
  Loving animals – especially horses – and enjoying being outdoors in all weathers, braving the rain, is an essential requirement.
  The first two weeks are a trial period to see if we get on well together.

  WARUM EIN HELFER?
  Ich liebe den Kontakt zu verschiedenen Menschen (durch Freiwillige) und Kulturen aus unterschiedlichen Ländern und liebe es, deren Mentalität kennenzulernen.
  
  
  ANFORDERUNGEN
  Um auf meinen klitzekleinen Hof mitzuhelfen, musst du körperlich und geistig fit sein!
  Es ist wichtig, dass du gerne im Haus und Garten mithilfst.
  Tiere, im Besonderen Pferde, zu lieben und Freude daran zu haben, bei Wind und Wetter draußen zu sein, dem Regen zu trotzen, ist eine Grundvoraussetzung.
  Die ersten zwei Wochen gelten als Probezeit, um herauszufinden, ob wir uns miteinander wohlfühlen

  It’s important that you enjoy keeping things tidy with care and attention (as tidy, clean spaces also help you maintain inner clarity). Flexibility and a keen sense of this place’s needs are also very important to me.
  
  I am interested in a healthy and sustainable lifestyle for both horses and humans. The connection to my horses is very important to me. Being out and about with them (e.g., on a walk) is a great joy for me. Philosophical and spiritual conversations are always enriching for me.
  
  - I’m a vegetarian.
  - Smoking, alcohol and drugs are prohibited throughout the farm grounds.

  GEMEINSAME AUFGABEN
  Mein klitzekleiner privater Hof lädt ein, bei sich selbst anzukommen. Dir ist es ein Anliegen mich bei den Arbeiten rund ums Haus sowie im Haus zu unterstützen. Und du kochst gerne.
  Ein achtsamer Umgang mit der Natur lädt dich ein, eine Verbindung mit ihr aufzubauen.
  
  Es ist wichtig, dass du Freude daran hast, Dinge mit Liebe zur Ordnung zu pflegen (denn die äußeren, sauberen Räume unterstützen dich auch in deiner inneren Klarheit). Flexibilität und ein feines Gespür für die Bedürfnisse dieses Ortes sind mir ebenfalls sehr wichtig.
  
  Ich interessiere mich für einen gesunden und nachhaltigen Lebensstil für Pferd und Mensch. Die Verbindung zu meinen Pferden ist mir ein sehr großes Anliegen. Mit ihnen unterwegs zu sein (zB bei einem Spaziergang) ist mir eine ganz große Freude. Philosophische und spirituelle Gespräche sind stets eine Bereicherung für mich.

  You will have a bedroom and a private bathroom at your disposal during your stay. The kitchen serves as a common area where we can gather and eat together. Helping out with household chores—such as cooking, doing the dishes, and maintaining the outdoor areas—is an important part of your time with me.
  
  My tiny little farm is located in a small village with no direct connection to public transportation.
  It’s about a 2-kilometer walk to the nearest bus stop.
  
  
  IN RETURN
  … you’ll immerse yourself in the peaceful atmosphere of my little farm and a small village, far away from the hustle and bustle. You’ll enjoy spending time on your own, carrying out your daily tasks carefully and conscientiously.
  
  You enjoy looking after the garden (flowering plants and vegetable plants) and the outdoor areas, as well as preparing lunch each day and keeping the rooms in the house tidy. Good DIY skills are highly desirable, as minor repairs are required from time to time. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to find peace and quiet.
  
  Furthermore, treating the horses with care, love and respect is very important to me. They live with me as members of the family and are the heart and soul of my little farm.
  
  You’ll carry out the tasks independently. You’ll also have the chance to improve your German (otherwise, I also speak English).
  You’ll be living in a tranquil setting, far away from the hustle and bustle, right in the heart of nature.

  UNTERKUNFT
  Es steht dir ein Schlafzimmer sowie ein eigenes Bad für deinen Aufenthalt zur Verfügung. Die Küche dient uns als gemeinsamer Ort der Begegnung sowie dem gemeinsamen Essen. Die Mithilfe im Haushalt – beim Kochen, beim Abwasch, bei der Pflege der Außenanlagen usw. – ist ein wichtiger Teil deiner Zeit bei mir.
  
  Mein klitzekleiner Hof befindet sich in einem kleinen Dorf ohne direkte Anbindung an ein öffentliches Verkehrsnetz.
  Ca 2 km zu Fuß sind notwendig, um den nächsten Bus zu erreichen.
  
  
  IM GEGENZUG
  … tauchst du ein in eine ruhige Kultur meines kleinen Hofes und eines kleinen Dorfes, weit ab vom großen Rummel. Du genießt es, deine Zeit mit dir zu verbringen, deine täglichen Aufgaben sorgfältig und gewissenhaft zu erledigen.
  
  Du kümmerst dich gerne um die Pflege des Gartens (Blühpflanzen und Gemüsepflanzen), der Außenanlage sowie um die tägliche Zubereitung des Mittagessens sowie um die Pflege der Räume im Haus. Handwerkliches Geschick ist sehr erwünscht, da auch immer wieder mal kleinere Reparaturen anfallen. Im Gegenzug bietet sich dir die Möglichkeit in der Ruhe zu dir zu finden.
  
  Außerdem ist mir der achtsame, liebevolle und respektvolle Umgang mit den Pferden ein großes Anliegen. Sie leben bei mir als Familienmitglieder und sind das Herzstück meines kleinen Hofes.
  
  Du übernimmst selbständig die Aufgaben. Ebenso hast du die Möglichkeit deine Deutschkenntnisse zu verbessern (ansonsten spreche ich auch Englisch).
  Du lebst in einer beschaulichen Umgebung, fernab vom Trubel, ganz nah an der Natur.

  Wir haben eine stabile Internetverbindung, die wir jedoch bewusst nutzen.
  Das bedeutet, dass Handys und mobile Geräte auf dem Hof nur in bestimmten Bereichen
  (eigener Wohnbereich) und nur bei tatsächlicher Notwendigkeit verwendet werden.
  Von 22:30 Uhr bis 5.00 Uhr ist die Internetverbindung AUSGESCHALTEN.
