Hello beautiful souls!
I live in a charming place in Southern Poland (the Bieszczady Mountains). I do my Ph.D. in tropical meteorology (remotely) and I teach Vinyasa yoga. I am now creating a yoga school / mediatation centre / a personal and spiritual development retreat center.
I would be happy to host creative and hard-working people who could help me a bit while having a wonderful time here!
Note: yoga is my favourite hobby, I don't run a business, we won't have paying clients. We practice a gift economy (a gift culture) - a mode of exchange where valuables are not sold, but given. You will be given healthy, delicious and mostly local vegan / vegetarian food + accomodation + all I can share in exchange for your help (maximum 5 hours a day, 5 days a week).

I believe that you will get and learn what you need and Nature is the greatest teacher... I can teach you yoga, meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques), how to be "eco-friendly" and buy responsibly. During summer there's a lot happening in here: concerts, various events, small festivals. You will also have time to discover things on your own and find what resonates with you.
At the moment I mostly need help with:
- renovation inside the house;
- renovation inside yoga studio;
- gardening and planting;
- painting wooden structures outside the house;
- cleaning and general maintanance;
- art projects.

Depends on how many people are here at the moment. Ideally you will be given a separate room. Tell me your expected day of arrival and I'll give you more details on what to expect. Anyway, there will be private sleeping spaces for all Workawayers. Accomodation is of course free. I provide duvets and sheets. However, some people prefer to sleep in their own sleeping bags. Feel free to choose.
You can hike and take part in events happening nearby. The Bieszczady Mountains are a massive range that extends all the way to Ukraine and Slovakia. Because the valleys and meadows softly slope up and down — rather than being too steep — they are a perfect destination for hiking. A large section of the Bieszczady Mountains is part of the UNESCO East Carpathian Biosphere Reserve, home to brown bears, wolves, and bison and mostly covered by beech forest. There are many trails — a picturesque, soft climbs that shouldn't take more than a few hours.
My place is surrounded by forests, hilly meadows and streams. However, it is also located near a "main" road. It feels like "main" to me, but the trafic is not too heavy if you come from a city :) Take a look at the pictures taken from a drone to see what I mean. The "wild" starts 2 minutes from the house but you can still hear cars passing by.
Available transport: bus to Lesko or Cisna / train to Zagórz from where I will pick you up.

We don't have fiber internet that can reach speeds of up to 940 Megabits per second with low lag time. BTW did you know that this technology uses fiber-optic cable, which amazingly can send data as fast as about 70% the speed of light?! Crazy, right? Well, we don't have it anyway, but WiFi works well :) I'm fine with working remotely here so I think you'll be fine too.
There is plenty of space to park you van here
