Descripción
We are a happy couple with two adult sons 24 and 27 (who live in B.C and Halifax) and a very boisterous young dog. We live in between Halifax and some lovely beaches and coastal towns in a wooded neighbourhood. We love to socialize, cook healthy vegan meals and be active in the outdoors - especially the beaches!

We live in a beautiful area close to the city and small Nova Scotian villages. You will meet lots of Nova Scotian people and be able to enjoy the seaside and good food!
It is best if you have your own vehicle as we do not have easy access to public transportation to most places that you will want to visit.

Halifax is an interesting, historic city. There is a local express bus that can take you there or you could travel in with one of us. The beaches are a 20-30 minute drive down a scenic road - we could bring you to the beaches and nearby villages and farmers markets.

He was so easygoing, polite and pleasant.
He helped us with some yard work, housework, car cleanup and most of all, helped care for our dog, Clair!
He handled Clair's energy and exuberance with great calm and patience.
We miss him already!

She is very thoughtful, gentle and kind.
I had a list of a few tasks that I wasn't able to do for a long time due to recovering from a back injury and she completed all of them with attention to detail.
She also played with our boisterous dog every day, whose name happens to be Clair!
She worked hard and if there was nothing left on 'the list', she would think of something to do!
We felt really lucky to be a part of her travels to the East coast!
I had a great time with them and felt totally comfortable in their home. Edie and Mike made life so much more enjoyable and I totally love their sons and cant wait to see how they make out in life.
