Descripción
You are welcome to join our family for few weeks (or more !) if you like spending time with teenager. We need help for speaking english with Arthur (13) and Charlotte (18) and for the house (cooking, household...). Of course you will have free time to visit by yourself if you want. As you were able to read it in feedback, we like exchanging and laughing with our volunteers. We thus give ourselves always a few days of "test" in the beginning of stay to be sure(safe) that everybody feels good together.
A great sense of fun would be an asset ;-)
We hope see you soon !
PS : you need to like animals : we have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 1 turtle (and two kids ;)

The village is 15km from the seaside. The house has a big garden. There's plenty of walking or biking trails on your doorstep. You will have your own bedroom.

I had the most wonderful experience with Benedicte and the whole family. They made me feel welcome from day 1 and I immediately felt like I fitted in. Also even though it was during a partial lockdown, they still went out of their way to show me the area as much as they could which I really did appreciate.

I stayed with this amazing family from the end of july untill the end of september 2018. The first two weeks I stayed with bouddha (the dog) while the family was on vacation. That was a great opportunity to get to know the dog better (he's awesome).

I was lucky enough to stay with this family for 6 weeks in summer 2017 and cannot recommend the experience enough! I was pretty nervous arriving as it was the first time I had been a Workaway, but I was immediately put at ease when I met the family. Thomas and Bénédicte are two of the most open and genuine people I have met. In exchange for help… read more around the house and with their gorgeous kids, Charlotte and Arthur, (two welcoming and ridiculously bright kids who are just so much fun to be around!), they shared their family life with me and gave me such a positive experience of living with a family in Southern France. I have such lovely memories of picnics in the park, yoga on the terrace, BBQs, walks and a lot of laughs with the family and their friends (it sounds cliché but it's true!). They _were even kind enough to invite me to a family baptism in the tiniest village in the Pyrenees - an incredible experience that I will not forget. And of course, there is Buddha - the very chilled out and attention-loving rescue dog. I used to love waking up to him outside my room (careful not to step on him if you get up in the night!).

The village where they live is also beautiful. You cannot get a more serene view than that of the hills and fields from the bedroom door (it looks out onto a terrace). If you like running, walking or cycling the surrounding countryside is perfect for this. At the same time, you are only about 30-40 minutes away from Toulouse centre - a stunning city with an amazing variety of shops, restaurants and bars. It's also not too far from Albi, Carcasonne, even Barcelona, if you have time to travel and explore. _

_I learnt a lot living with Bénédicte, Thomas, Charlotte and Arthur - from French, to cooking skills (my cooking would SOMETIMES leave much to the imagination :wink:) to general things about myself through the many chats we had. In terms of learning French, the family are incredibly helpful and patient. Arthur and Charlotte are definitely accustomed to Workaways and show a level of patience that rivals mine as a language teacher! If you can embrace your mistakes and laugh at yourself, you will have a great time with this family. _

_Thank you again, Bénédicte, Thomas, Charlotte and Arthur for such a brilliant experience. I hope to visit soon to catch up with you all over some 'patates'!_
