Hi! 🌿 I'm Verónica, creator of Oveja Verde (Green Sheep), a project with soul that began as a rural tourism and artisanal gastronomy space on the Beagle Channel in 2012 and is now transforming into a creative, natural, and conscious refuge and accommodation.
Oveja Verde combines sustainable living, art, well-being, and connection with the Earth.
Here, the days unfold amidst mountains, wind, fire, forest, and sea. I'm restructuring the place and need hands, energy, companionship, and ideas to keep going.
I'm trying to build this project on my own, along with my 8-year-old son. That's why I'm looking for volunteers with sensitivity, empathy, and respect, who understand that this isn't a hostel or a party spot, but a home at the end of the world where we share work, nature, and authentic moments.
Tasks to perform: Help with meals or simple preparations.
Assistance with daily organization or cleaning. Guest reception, cabin and laundry cleaning, lawn and garden maintenance, assistance with setting up a new vegetable garden and greenhouse, painting, and gathering firewood for heating and cooking, grilling, fence and wire repair, shed tidying, and general maintenance.
No behavior that disrupts the normal functioning of a family home is permitted, nor is aggressive behavior towards any individual. Excessive consumption, such as alcoholic beverages, is also prohibited.
We strive to protect green spaces and natural areas, and minimize noise during rest hours and at night. We are looking for active, cheerful, and energetic people who are eager to collaborate, learn, and love rural life. You can expect a warm and friendly welcome from us.

Hola! 🌿 Soy Verónica, creadora de Oveja Verde, un proyecto con alma que nació como espacio rural de turismo y gastronomía artesanal en el Canal Beagle en 2012 y que hoy se está transformando en un refugio y alojamiento creativo, natural y consciente.
Oveja Verde combina vida sustentable, arte, bienestar y conexión con la Tierra.
Aquí los días transcurren entre montañas, viento, fuego, bosque y mar. Estoy reestructurando el lugar y necesito manos, energía,compañía he ideas para seguir adelante.
Itento levantar el proyecto sola, junto a mi hijo de 8 años. Por eso busco voluntarios con sensibilidad, empatía y respeto, que entiendan que este no es un hostel ni un sitio de fiesta, sino un hogar en el fin del mundo donde compartimos trabajo, naturaleza y momentos auténticos.
Tareas a realizar, Colaborar en comidas o preparaciones simples.
Ayuda en organización o limpieza diaria. recepción de huéspedes, y limpieza de cabañas y lavandería, mantenimiento del césped y jardín, ayuda en la realización de una nueva huerta, e invernadero ,pintura, y acopie de leña para la calefacción y cocina de la parrilla , reparación de cercos, y alambrados, orden de galpones, mantenimiento en general.
No se admite ningún comportamiento que perturbe el normal desarrollo de un hogar familiar, ni comportamientos agresivos hacia ningún individuo, no se admite ningún exceso EJ .bebidas alcohólicas.
Procuramos cuidar los espacios verdes y naturales, los ruidos molestos en horas de descanso y nocturnas.
Esperamos personas activas, alegres, fuertes y con ganas de colaborar, aprender y que le encante la vida rural, podrá esperar de nosotros un trato cordial y amistoso.
Si soñás con vivir unos días en el fin del mundo, ayudando a mantener vivo un proyecto que mezcla arte, sostenibilidad y magia, te doy la bienvenida a Oveja Verde.

Necesito ayuda, en mantenimiento y limpieza de las cabañas, y lavandería, recepción de turistas
también en mantenimiento del césped y jardín, ayuda en la realización de una nueva huerta, desarmar viejas estructuras y reciclaje de ellas, invernadero, pintura, y acopie de leña para la calefacción y cocina de la parrilla, reparación de cercos, y alambrados, mantenimiento en general, orden y limpieza de galpones, Esperáramos gente con energía, fuerza y colaboradora con mínimos conocimientos en carpintería y en el uso de herramientas, como motosierras, cortadora de pasto, taladros, uso del hacha para picar leña,etc.

I'm restructuring the place as a hostel, but volunteers will sometimes have to share the family space since we won't always be able to offer a private room. They can also set up their own tents and will have access to a shared kitchen and basic food supplies from my family home, which I also need help renovating before winter.

Estoy reestructurando el lugar como hospedaje, pero los voluntarios deberán en algunas ocasiones compartir el espacio familiar ya que no podremos siempre ofrecer un lugar privado. Tambien pueden armar sus propias carpas y tendran acceso a cocina compartida y alimentos básicos de mi casita familiar, en la que tambien necesito ayuda para refaccionarla antes del invierno.

keep in mind that if you really want to get away and go hiking or trekking this is the place, since we are 80 km away from ushuaia without public transport, ... near is the Harberton stay, the first stay in Tierra del Fuego to which without problems we can take you ..

Ten en cuenta que si deseas realmente alejarte y hacer senderismo o trekking este es el lugar, ya que estamos a 80 km de Ushuaia sin transporte públicos,.. cercano se encuentra la estancia Harberton , primer estancia de tierra del fuego a la que sin problemas podre llevarte..
todos nuestros vecinos se dedican a la producción, , pesca o gastronomía enfocada al turismo .
