Our farm is a llama/alpaca sanctuary located northwest of San Antonio, Texas. A rustic cabin may be available depending on schedule. Tent camping is available using your tent or ours. 30 amp available for those with an RV or camper. Cooking is in a shared camp kitchen. Shower & compost toilet available. Length of stay varies and depends on availability & projects.
Volunteers help with the compassionate care of animals and the maintenance of facilities and pastures.
Our main focus is the care and rescue of llamas and alpacas and a safe, organized facility. Time for helping is approximately 15 hours per week. Hours are approximately 9am to 11:30am, 6 days per week. Your own vehicle is needed for transportation. There are cats and dogs and free-range guineas here so your approved pet would need to be kept in a fenced area or on a leash.
Bring clothing for all kinds of weather, gloves, farm shoes.
No Smoking or chemical fragrances or perfumes at our facility.
No illegal substances or activities.
You need to be able to lift 2 strand hay bale approximately 50lbs.

A vehicle is required to explore local area. Unique towns are nearby with wineries, music. San Antonio with its many attractions is a 1 hour drive.
