We are open to hosting Workaways starting at the end of March
We are Dylan and Georgia, we are in our early 30s and are building our dream property. Our dream is to turn our property into a farm stay with animals and food to become self sufficient in years to come.
Various projects for 2025 will include: Housekeeping, General Cleaning, Cooking, Landscaping and Garden Maintenance.
We are finishing a tiny home project this spring and might require some help finishing it, and we will likely be building a farm stand in July that could require some participation - projects are always evolving here!
We have preference for couples or travellers in groups of 2, a car is needed to access our property.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Travellers will learn different cooking skills, including baking sourdough, general gardening tips, basic carpentry, trail building.
Georgia is also a sound healer and plays crystal singing bowls. Dylan & Georgia are both Reiki practitioners. If workaways are interested in learning about sound healing and playing the bowls that could be possible.
We love to spend evenings relaxing, eating delicious homecooked meals, and gardening. We will spend some time socialising with workaways but not every evening, after a long day we like to relax alone. This workaway is best suited to two people who have each other to socialise and keep each other company during work hours and exploring the local area.
When reaching out, please share your reasons for picking the Sunshine Coast and what you would like to get out of this experience!Ayuda

Your accomodation is in the new tiny home, a shipping container, with a king bed and en-suite that is still under construction (Feb 2025). You will have use of the bathroom in the main house during your stay/or until the bathroom in the tiny home is complete. Currently there is a dry toilet in the tiny home.
Vegetarian meals will be provided to you during your stay and made for you to eat in your accomodation in the tiny home. We may eat some meals together, depending on schedules. There is a living room and kitchen in the tiny home that is still under construction - this might be something you help finish if not completed by your arrival! There is a futon bed in the living room for groups of 2 who do not wish to share a bed.
There is no wifi in the tiny home, wifi for workaways is available in a seperate office building on the property.
We are a 20 minute walk from the closest bus stop. 10 minute walk to the local cidery and food truck. A small food store within 15 mins walk. 8 minutes drive into Sechelt town. We prioritise workaways who have their own transport.Algo más...
