My daughter and family are coming for a visit so availability only until Tuesday Wed 2/4/26.
Welcome to stay for a week or so and help in the garden and the house if you like.

Hey guys,
Is there a carpenter/builder or handyman out there who could help me put up a bamboo screen . 3 m long and 1.8 high.
Need to be able to sink 3 posts and concrete them in. Also some help in the garden.
Must be able to cook , as we will rotate preparation of the evening meal. Other meals are ‘ help yourself ‘ style.
I live in a cosy village 25 km outside Sydney. I have kayaks, bikes and swimming pool.

Nice experiece with Ruth, I stayed 5 weeks gardening, cooking and taking care of the animals. We did a lot of kayaking in the creeks, some hikkings and the very playful and crazy dog was on her own a really physical activity ! Thanks to a lodger who had a big shed I have been able to do some work on my car.

I spent a lovely 3 weeks at Ruth's place where I really felt like home. It was my first time in Australia as workawayer and at the beginning I was a little bit nervous. I had a really good time with Ruth. Always something to do, and always different things; you won't get bored. Not even in your free time. Ruth is good at entertaining. I met a lot of great people, friends and family of Ruth. Good accommodation and food. I can highly recommend to help out here, it's a lovely place, with lovely people!

It's already a while ago, but I had a wonderfull stay with Ruth and her little dog.
She is a very nice person and we had a few small trips around Sydney. The accommodation is very good and there is a variety of work to do.
I was also able to take the car or the bike during my free time.
All in all it was a great time and I miss it.
