Hi there! We are a homeschooling family currently renovating an old house in a rural village in Bulgaria.
Our village is small but has a few shops, a park and a cafe. We have a mineral bath complex here too which is a great place to unwind! Our village is just 12 km away from the bigger town of Polski Trambesh while the old capital city of Veliko Tarnovo is 40 mins away. Buses run through the village to surrounding areas. This place is full of history and we have fallen in love with the place!
We took on a bit of a wreck 3 years ago and have slowly brought it back to life but we are struggling a bit with the garden. We need new muscles and new energy to take it forward! -

We are really looking forward to exchanging cultural ideas, food, music, art, travel......with our volunteers!
We also want our 12 year old child to experience interactions with people from many different parts of the world.
There are many events and activities locally we could attend together too. -

Ayuda
We would like some physical help in the garden mainly. We have wood to process and land to clear and maybe some dry stone walls to fix. Some fencing too.
We will be working alongside you for some of the time and we are super open to new ideas and energies! Happy to skill share whenever possible too. -

Alojamiento
We have a lovely caravan to offer. It has a choice of either a large double bed or 2 singles at the front. Indoor and outdoor seating areas and an end bathroom with a toilet and shower.
We will leave breakfast stuff for you to cook or prepare for yourself in the caravan kitchen or fridge. A light lunch will be available and a proper hot dinner each evening. (Which will probably include some cake!)
Bedding and towels can be provided. -

There are lots of things to do in this area. Buses and taxis are easy to use and cheap.
We are open to drop offs in town or swimming pool etc.
We don't smoke and we do not allow smoking in the caravan. -

Our caravan is cosy and would suit a person alone or a couple. Or 2 friends who know each other well.
