We are a retired couple ME 76 and DONNA 75 living in a small island community on an island off the coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We have a large house and lot with a garden and a beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. We have a large hot tub and nice clean rooms for your stay. We have 1 small dog. WE HAVE NOT BEEN EXCEPTING WORK AWAYS FOR THE LAST 2 YEARS BECAUSE OF THE FEAR OF COVET YOU MUST HAVE HAD ALL THREE SHOTS AND BE ABLE TO PROVE THAT THAT IS A MUST HAVE .... we are a cultural exchange you will spend some time helping Donna.

Workawayers will have the weekends to explore the islands and the ocean life here. There is wonderful salmon fishing and kayaking, Our island has two great hiking trails, a fresh water lake and a beach where orcas come to rub occasionally. Our community is small and friendly.

Donna and Frank gave me a roof above my head, although the house was full already. That was very generous from everybody involved, we had a great group and it worked out perfectly! I spent a month at Frank and Donna's gorgeous place and would come back in a heart beat. They are really kind and caring and they make you feel like you are part of the family. The work was very easy and enjoyable. I loved to go out on the boat with Frank or bake tons of cookies with Donna. (She has some really good recipes!)

I stayed with Frank and Donna for 2 weeks in the beginning of July. It's a lovely peacefull place te stay. It felt like home the minute i walked in.
The tasks are not to hard and they will not push you to do something that's to hard for you. If i could i would've stayed longer.

An incredible experience. A beautiful place to stay. They make you feel as family there.
They are incredible people with amazing hearts. Im so thankful for arriving there. it was my first workaway experience.
