Descripción
A mother and son living on peaceful 21 acres nestled between 2 big mountains, near every kind of outdoor recreation you can imagine. Current projects are fence building and various carpentry tasks in the shop. (No experience necessary - but greatly appreciated) Daily feeding of 10 cows, 2 dogs, as well as simply holding down the fort while we are away would be a big help. We have an unfinished cabin on the top of the property and a camper near the house for living quarters. There's an endless amount of chainsaw work, log splitting and brush clearing/burning for those who are interested.

The health of the forested portions of the farm needs to be improved and forest fire fuels removed and piled for future burning. Tasks include thinning, pruning, branch and brush removal. Stacking of firewood. There is finish tasks to be done on the cabin and depending on the season, a variety of farm projects - gardening, fence repair, landscaping, hay hauling, snow shoveling. Alojamiento
Travelers could stay in the cabin, sleep out under the stars, in hammocks, or sleep in our camper. A spare bedroom is a possibility and use of the inside bathroom is ok, as well. I provide a few meals per week and use of BBQ or fire pit.

Algo más...
Hiking around Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, Mt. St. Helens and around the Columbia River Gorge is one of my favorite things to do. We snowmobile and sled here on the property if a winter visit is in order. We're at 2000 ft elevation and get quite a bit of snow. Floating the Klickitat or Trout Creek is fun on hot days. You can pick huckleberries late August. There's just so much beauty and outdoor recreation here.
