Descripción
We are a family of seven, and in 2018 we moved our biodynamic farm to this new place, basically starting from a scratch... We are in the heart of Southern Bohemia, in a tiny villages, hoping to build up a community farmstead, we apply the principles of biodynamic farming, some permaculture as well. We have 2 cows, 7 goats, milking them, making cheese , two horses to ride and to plough and work on the farm, we grow veggies on 5000 m2, but also in small vegetable patches for the workawayers to be able to learn how to grow their own vegetables on a very small veggie bed (as small as 30 m2). This year we founded an NGO as we intend to work with local Waldorf schools to offer programs for kids to get hands on experience on growing food and making food. We are also working with disabled people to help them be able to grow their own vegetables and spend some time on the farm. We desperately need help"

Hope you come to work with us an and enjoy our family atmosphere, calm in the middle of nature and animals, enjoying homemade food and bread and cheese and all. We practice anthroposophy (Rudolf Steiner). We are trying to live in accordance with sustainability and old traditions... As a bonus for you those interested could be taught herbalism, qigong and meditation from a certified healer in an exchange for your help on the farm.

Ayuda
We are looking for help to build up our farm, building fences, making hay, harvesting the crops or tending the farm animals... also collecting medicinal plants, making herbal ointments and tinctures and more. There is a variety of activities that you can participate in if you would like to gain experience. Speaking English or Deutsch or Francais with our kids is a bonus for us. This year we will be building a new veranda, new roof on the house too. We prefer a longer stay, for at least a month, but preferrably longer..

We have two mobile homes for accommodation. In summer also a yurt tent can be used. We provide mattresses, feather blanket and pillow, bedding.
Shared meals with the family and friends. Biodynamic food mainly from the farm, home cooked, home made sourdough bread, home made cheese.

Czech republic is a place full of history and tradition and our farm is near the historical town of Tabor, where the medieval relorming hussite movement originated. Within 200 km there ate major sights of our small country, including the Prague Castle etc. We have a car and there is a bus and train going to a nearby village. We are 7 km from a small town and 20 km from Tabor, 100 km South of Prague.
