  We are based in Hawarden, North Canterburry in the South Island of New Zealand. The Christchurch airport is 90 minutes away and we are happy to make arrangements for you to get to us. We own 2,300 acres of beautiful land in the mountains running sheep and beef cattle. We also breed our own horses and run a horse trekking business. We live near a large river great for swimming and fishing and welcome riders and gardeners to come enjoy it with us. Plenty of great food!!!

  Ayuda

  Each September we break in 10 young horses and we need EXPERIENCE riders to ride them over the summer. If you are interested in working with these horses we need you to be a STRONG, CONFIDENT rider. The horses need a consistent rider to take them to the next level.
  If you are not a horse rider there will be jobs including gardening plus cooking and cleaning around the house.
  We would like know you height, weight and have full length photo of you. All our horses are 16hh(1,60cm) and taller. You must be able to mount a horse from the ground. You should be athletic to ride these young horses.

  We take helpers for up to two or three months for food and accommodation in exchange for work. Accommodation is in the main house or cottage/sleepout with a shared bathroom.

  -FLUENT ENGLISH
  -STRONG, CONFIDENT, EXPERIENCE RIDER
  
  We will take you for 2-3 rides and have a look if you are good enough, if you are not good enough, you will be asked to leave to following day!!
