Descripción
Our project is situated 7 km from Katherine township on the way to Nitmiluk National Park and Gorge (22 km away). We have 9 acres of extensive lawn and gardens that needs upkeep as well as general ground maintenance. Help would include: cleaning, cooking, gardening, watering, somple building help and fence maintenance.
Accommodation is varied, and this may change over the year depending on vacancies - small self contained living space (caravan or granny-flat), downstairs room of house, or your own accomodation in van, caravan, tent.
We have hosted helpers for many years and love the exchange and meeting new travellers.
Families are very welcome. -

We have many artists in residence and helpers may have the opportunity to meet Indigenous artists and learn more about Aboriginal Art and Culture.

Alojamiento
We have a self contained caravan and shelter including bathroom and kitchen. Helpers will make their own breakfast and lunch and have all the facilities to do this. Evening meals are taken together and they are shared between host and Workaway helper if they like to cook, otherwise the host will do the cooking.

Our property is only 22 km from Nitmiluk Gorge (Katherine Gorge) and 7km from the Katherine township.

I only stayed for two weeks but they were great. The cultural experience and the family dinners are just the cherry on the creamcake ( as you would say in Germany). I hoped I could have stayed longer. You learn a lot about aboriginal art and the little wallabies are just to cute. … read more
