We are a mix of a makerspace, and a guesthouse. With a background as an IT engineer, I teach modern technologies, programming and networking. On weekends, we run workshops for kids and adults. Subjects of our workshops include: Electronics, 3D modeling, programmings, IoT, and home automation. We have fast (80 Mpbs, symmetric) and reliable WiFi in every room and shared spaces, which is one of the most important factors for digital nomads. To make our place kid-friendly, we have a garden in the back. The location is quite convenient and calm. The Pub street is far enough to avoid noises from there, and close enough to walk on foot. We have two local staffs, okay-ish English speaker and Khmer-only speaker as cleaning staffs.

You will contribute not only to our makerspace, but also to local community. The tourism gave local people many opportunities; the majority of the population in Siem Reap works for the industry. However, the young generation needs something more than that. Siem Reap, and Cambodia itself, relies heavily on tourism, which has many external risk factors, such as spikes in energy market, or pandemic. The education system in the country is better than before, but there are not enough resources to make skilled workforce. Only few who happened to born in a wealthy family have access to better education. We are not trying to provide hardware like building schools, or digging a well. There are a plenty of NGOs or other organizations. We would like to teach modern technologies (not Word or Excel skills!) and their possibilities to young generation. If you contribute to our goals, that would be a unique achievement in your life!
Also, if you are a geek, we can teach IoT, embedded programming in C, and electronics. For that, you must be able to code in, at the least, one or two programming languages. If your previous projects only works within a browser, or on computers, this would be an interesting experience in which you will learn how to interact with the real world.Ayuda
We are looking for help from engineers, programmers, designers, artists and makers. Currently, I am the owner of the business and the staff at the same time. As I have cleaning staffs, no bed-making, or cleaning jobs. If you can do one or more of the followings, I need your help; a) teaching modern technologies (vector graphics, 3D modeling, and embedded programming) in English, and b) have your own projects that are suitable for a makerspace to show off, c) helping our workshops in which we teach various subjects, such as electronics, programming, and physics. In addition to these, I need someone who takes care of guests and customers during daytime while I am away for errands or lunch, for instance.
Our students, including tourists and expats, have different skill set, from seven years-old kids without no previous experience to adults with IT-related background. The subjects of the workshops also vary, from block programming with micron:bit to IoT with WiFi-enabled micro-controllers. Most of workshops are one-shot, but we also have local students who have been attending our class for months. C programming skill is a big plus. If you are a Rust programmer, you will be more than welcome.
If you are an artist or have skills to decorate rooms, we need your help. Any idea to make our rooms cozy is welcome. If you know how to grow herbs, such as mints and lemongrass, that would be great.Idiomas hablados

We are a guesthouse for tourists, digital nomads, and long stayers. Your room has a fan, a bed, and a private bathroom. Each floor has a terrace with fans. You may use the shared kitchen. We are located in a quiet area, but you can find many local, Thai, and western restaurants nearby. A modern supermarket in a walking distance, a wholesale bakery next to the property, and a great supermarket in 5 minutes tuk-tuk ride.

There are a plenty of activities in the city. As you must have known much about places to visit (ask online), including Angkor Wat, I would not mention that. During the daytime, the city is surprisingly quiet. Even at the (in)famous Pub street, you will enjoy quiet atmosphere. There are many cafes, restaurants and hotels with beautiful garden, a billiard, or a swimming pool. Enjoy these while tourists are away from the city.
