  HI!! We are Lara, Raphael and Gabriel and we welcome you to this beautiful place! Full of green and brown, full of trees and colorful flowers. Inhabited by plants, animals, few humans and lots of plant Devas and earth, air, fire and water Elementals..
  
  We are a family of 3.:)) taking care of +/-2ha of land full of fruit trees and some animals that we rescued in the last 17years.
  
  We have a big garden where every year we grow our vegetables and medicinal herbs. The medicinal plants they grow everywhere in the land, the so called weeds!!
  We have an ongoing project of a Food Forest, and old fruit trees all over the place. We would love your help to make the Food Forest thrive!!
  
  Our animals kindly help us building a rich soil, and were rescued from different situations of abuse and mistreatment.
  We have pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, cat and dogs
  
  I'm living this life of taking care of this land, growing my own food and sharing the tasty gifts the Earth provides with neighbors, family and friends for 17 years now!
  
  For the last 8 years we've been receiving visitors, Workawayers, friends and helpers from all parts of the world! It has been an amazing experience!

  And now we are looking for someone that would like to buy the land alongside side with us. It has enough conditions for 6 families to live in a very big shared house. And it has other buildings ready for renewal for others to live in as well. It has plenty of space!
  We are looking for like minded people that would like to live in a kind of community/old village/old ways/family stile. Where we can share knowledge and experiences together and live more connected to the Earth and the beings around us.
  We are recent parents and we want to raise our children in Love, Respect, Understanding, Awareness, Conexion, Calm, Joy, and teach them Slow living and Earth living experiences and concepts coming right from the heart!
  We are looking for like minded families that want to raise their children in a respectful and connected way. But we also welcome single mums or dads, or humans that, despite not having children, they have some awareness and openness for living with children and their parents. No one has all the knowledge, but when we are open to learn from a being that is very different from us, half of the way for connections and relationships to thrive is already walked!

  We practice a daily routine of self-love and self-care. We have sharing circles weekly and other bonding and healing/energy regulating activities along the week.
  
  We're looking for people that want to help us on our daily activities of taking care of the animals, the vegetable garden, the fruit trees and the house chores.
  We seek for open-minded people, creative and friendly, that are not afraid of hard working, neither afraid of the cold winters and the hot summers of Portugal.
  
  You need to be respectful, kind and tender with all species and specially patient with the human species!! You will have to know how to behave in another person's house, respecting the other's space and habits and be organized and clean after yourself, this is really important!
  You really need to love animals to come here, they are everywhere and they are our teachers!
  And if somehow you think that you are not the best person for this experience, it's better not to come!!
  
  And you better be willing to grow your inner self, this is a life-changing experience...

  You can learn about Animal welfare, and pretty much everything about animals (domestic, wild and livestock) it has been my life, work and passion for more than 24 years, so I have a lot of knowledge to share and I am very happy and willing to share it with you!
  You can learn about plants, medicinal herbs, identify them and their usages, it's my hobby and true LOVE; natural Agriculture with techniques of Biodynamics, Permaculture and Food-Forest/Agroforest, how and when to seed, plant, harvest, prune,...
  You can learn techniques of self-love and self-care and improve your connection to all beings, and with yourself. We are beginners in this area, 8 and 5 years now, getting to know our Self, connecting with us and with the All that surrounds us. We would Love to learn and share experiences and knowledge in this area.
  You can learn how to cook 100% plant based meals.
  You can learn Portuguese speaking and writing or other languages that we speak here.
  You can learn about wood, carpentry, instruments building, furniture and house building, Raphael is passionate about wood!
  You can learn a lot of things, you just need to be willing to learn it! And usually, the ego must be left aside for our self to be open and able to learn..!! Will and understanding walk together in the path of learning.

  Alojamiento

  1big room with 4 beds, a big couch, closet and other furniture to put away your stuff, 1 table for meals, 2 big windows sun rising oriented. Bathroom outside the room, shared.
  1 room with 3 beds, 1 desk, 1 closet, furniture to put your stuff, 1 window sun oriented, bathroom outside the room, shared.
  1 room with 2 beds, 1 desk, 1 closet, furniture to put your stuff, 1 window sunset oriented, bathroom outside the room, shared.
  There are other rooms and places for families, we can talk about it in a call or meeting.
  The food is vegan and occasionally we eat eggs from our own chickens. You will have everything that you need to have a nutritive and complete meal!
  In respect of the beings that live in here, this is their home and it's a Sanctuary for them, we don't accept any animal origin food products. Please, respect this rule, be aware of your cookies and Chocolat bar's ingredients!
  
  We can share the meals in the kitchen or outside if it is a sunny day!
  The kitchen will be shared by everyone in the house so it must be cleaned and organized every time you use it. After you arrive we will show you how the food storage and preparation works. We usually share lunch together and dinner and breakfast it's free.

  We will make a video call after your contact, so we can meet, talk and feel each other's energy.
  
  We don't smoke and we don't want here people that smoke tabacco. If you are a smoker really willing to come be aware that it is NOT alowed to smoke inside the room, nor the house, neither any part of the farm. You can smoke only outside the gate. This is a very important rule, please respect. And it is not joyfull to have an addicted person going outside every hour to smoke a cigarette. If you think you are not addicted and you can manage your addiction by going very few time to smoke or even quitting that habit, you are welcomed, otherwise, we prefer that you don't come.
  
  This is a family farm, so we appreciate that you know how to behave around children and elderly people. Respect our habits, our rules, our routines, our ways of doing things! Respect it's the most important thing arroud here! Be respectful with everyone and everyone will respect you too!
  
  This farm has animals living in like in a Sanctuary. Their lives are so important as ours, we respect them, take care of them, learn with them and let them live freely as possible around all the farm.
  (You really need to like animals otherwise there's no need for you to come!)
  
  We usually make a trip with the volunteers every month to visit some beautiful places in nature here in Portugal. We share the expenses of the trip and we have a great time together! We may visit mountains, waterfalls, forests, ecovilages, the sea and the beach, or even cities if we want to.
  
  30 minutes walking from here you have the river Dão, a big river, with riverside Beach and nice forests around to walk. The 2 nearest towns are 15 and 20 minutes by car. You can use bus (there's not so many busses passing by) or request a taxi. We can go to the city together as well.
  
  I'm a host for volunteers for 8 years, I have some experience and the most are amazing, but it also happened to have not that good experiences, so because of that I implemented some rules that we'll talk in our video-call and I can make some questions about important areas in community living before the call as well.
  
  Living in a communitary way implies communal tasks that are not considered volunteer help. So prepare yourself to clean your own room and bathroom, clean the kitchen after yourself and share the cleanings of the communal parts of the house, exactly like you would do in your own house!
