***Needing help immediately!!!!!***
Need help ASAP must have horse experience
We were booked until Jan 2021 but due to travel restriction we have lots of openings and need help with all sorts of building projects and help with the horses,,,foaling breeding and training ,,,,
We are now able to quarantine people on our ranch ,,,, it’s not easy but doable ,,,,of course it’s to take people who are already self isolating and we can pick up or can drive here without risk to our health as both Chris and I have serous health concerns. We are currently in need of someone who has experience working with horses....Halter breaking and ground manners ,,,Feeding handling grooming helping foaling mares,,,,the more experience the better but I am willing to train someone with horse experience,,,, The longer you can stay the better,,,,,
We are also looking for help with many building projects ,,, we do have separate accommodation which would be nice for a couple or people preferring privacy,,,,
We are an Christian older couple who live a quiet life on the farm where we enjoy our horses and mini dachshunds. Like to go to movies and enjoy anything to do with horses. 2021 will be a busy year ,,,,.we soon will have a few mares in foal ,,,it’s so awesome to watch foaling process as well if it is a blast watching the babies grow up,,,our ranch is an awesome place to relax ,,,,great for individuals who are independent ,,,we try not to over book,,,only one or two people at a time,,,we breed show and train horses,,, we also have rescues horses,,,we have horses in all stages of training ,,,also we have ongoing building protects,,, a huge barn and horse shelters,,,
I am a retired social worker,,,Chris still works and his work often requires travel so you may have the opportunity to see Alberta and British Columbia,,,,we try to take everyone on a few road trips ,,, so they can explore and see what a beautiful country we live in,,,, our usually stops are heartlands restaurant called Maggies.... huge western shop,,largest in perhaps the world ,,,, Tyrell dinosaur Museum,,,,ski hill,,,, hockey games ,,,, Canadian football..,,like to go out for meals try out new restaurants (depends on the season and your interests plus the length of time you stay) ,,, summer rodeos and of course the Calgary stampede depending on covid restrictions),,,,, so much to do ,,,, we do have a few riding horses ,,,, which you are welcome to ride but we are not a trail riding facility ,,,,
If you love to work with or train young horses this would be a good fit ,,,, or if you like to build ,,,lots of building going on,,,
I try to let people do what they always wanted to try or do as far as working with horses , but ,,,, you don’t need experience or if horses aren’t your interest and you like to build or learn to build you would be welcome here as well,,,although we are horse crazy here lol,,, please ask any questions you like ,,,, the more you know the happier you’ll be when you come here.... we treat everyone like our family and lots of time just sitting around talking or Chris loves games and cards,,,,

Learn about many Facets of the horses Industry as well as getting to explore our beautiful country,,,they would have a chance to eat live and sleep horses 24/7 as we are very involved with our animals as well as explore the Wild West going riding and rodeos...we an very close to the mountain we have a wonderful quite life style,,enjoy evening by the camp fire
In the winter we have several ski hills with in driving distance,,,,everything from beginner hills to world class skiing,,,Alberta is a wonderful place to learn how to ski or ice skate,,,watch hockey curling,,,even when it’s cold there are lots of outside activities to enjoy,,,
We would enjoying Sharing our lives with someone as well as learning about their lives;;;we realize this is your holiday as well and will do our best to help you see and experience Alberta ;;;camping fishing swimming shopping rodeos horse shows ;;;my husband travels maybe opportunities to go with him and see Different parts of Alberta and British Columbia ,,,Alberta is a wonderful place to live with incredible people as well as breathtaking scenery ,,,,

We are a busy farm where we have a horse rescue and wild cat sanctuary ,,,,we also have our own horses which we show breed ( only a few very select babies we do not mass produce or live off the sales of our horses ) our show horses are mainly sons and daughters of world champion stock or extremely rare Colour breeds,,,,,
We need assistance with horse care feeding grooming training. Also help with farm maintenance such as repairing fences and general maintence. Also person should be able to help with regular household duties such as cooking cleaning....
We started rebuilding a huge barn and several shelters,,,,we also have several rescue cats and horses that just need time and love so they learn to trust people again,,,we are working to become self sufficient and as eco friendly as possible ,,,,any exchange of knowledge in this area would be greatly appreciated,,,, we are working towards Substainabilty for out people and animals ,,,,we are very careful with our resources,,,,for example water ,,,, is a huge issue worldwide as there is not enough fresh water resources,,,,

We have two unused bedrooms as well as a suite on the third level which has own entrance as well as one bedroom living room bathroom fridge microwave convection oven you also have access to satellite TV Internet and telephone ,,, The rooms are all fully furnished ...we try to let everyone have own bedroom and space ,,,only way that would change is when a flight delay or something goes wrong so our guests can’t leave on time ,,,
Central Alberta is a very active horse community with lots of trail riding rodeo and clinics ...we also are close to some the city which offers everything from shopping to movies...we are close to two lakes with 15 minute drive offers lots of water actives as well as great fishing hiking biking off road fun ....in the winter we have very Inexpensive places to learn how to ski,,,or ice skate,,,we also have world class ski hills with driving distance,,,watch professional or local hockey,,,,we realize this is your holiday as well and will do our best to facilitate outtingsand activity that interest you ::: just google central Alberta Canada
In the winter skiing is a huge part of our culture but so are hockey games ice skating
Curling ,,,, we are close to calgary and Edmonton with buses running both ways,,,, also my hubby travels a lot so it is possible to get dropped off in the city or at a museum or ski hill for the day,,,,just let us know your interests we will try to make your wishes come true ,,,,
