We are on a French adventure with our 2 dogs Jack & Gizmo.
We have just purchased a beautiful chambre d'hote in the Laungedoc Roussillon region of France. Will need some general painting and maintenance help. The village (Caunes Minervous) is a busy tourist village in the heart of the wine producing Minervois region. Surrounding by Cathar Castles, Vineyards, 30 minutes to the beach, 20 minutes to Carcassonne, an hour to the pyrenees and not too far from the beautiful cities of Montpellier, Beziers, Perpignan and Marseille.

Anthony and Ian made me feel very welcome right from the start. They are both hard working but kind, friendly and good fun - both are big jokers.
I was there for two weeks to help reestablish their large garden.

This was my first work away and I really loved it.
I helped with gardening, painting and clearing out the cellars.
They took me everywhere they went even to their French friends for dinner. I also learnt to cook a few new dishes. Would recommend it here to anyone.
Thank you so… read more
