  About us:
  Our farm is located in the Altmark (near Salzwedel), a more agricultural region with numerous alternative projects and a corresponding amount of space for free design. We live here with 10 people. Some live in the house, some in a trailer or truck, some are away for longer periods of time, professionally or privately. Most of us are professionally crafted in some form. Our age spectrum ranges from 2 to 62.
  
  Our beautiful, large property (approx. 1.5 hectares) consists a former agricultural yard with various buildings and a lot of open space. We are ecologically oriented, work as sustainably as possible and have various, seasonally changing project priorities (e.g. growing vegetables or working on the house and farm).
  
  Our skills, which we are happy to share, range from professional gardening and sustainable agriculture to ecological building renovation and carpentry. We are locally connected with other interesting projects, which in turn are active in solidarity agriculture or are dedicated to other alternative structures.
  
  As an insight into our everyday life, here is a short list of the work we have done recently:
  
  - Building greenhouses and growing vegetables
  - Sustainable optimization of irrigation (use of rainwater)
  - Renovation (clay plaster, insulation, window construction, etc.)
  - Classic car restoration and car construction
  - Remove a large blackberry hedge and level the ground
  - Construction of a dry separation toilet and a solar thermal garden shower
  - ...
  
  We attach great importance to relaxed cooperation and like to cook together in the evening. But: everything can, nothing has to be done. There is space and space to withdraw into your own four walls or simply to do nothing and enjoy nature. We look forward to your visit and a warm and happy to also sustainable cultural exchange.
  
  Important: We are a private household and have no formal legal social, commercial or other organizational structure. We run our garden and our house building sites free of charge and cannot offer any employment. We are also unable to provide assistance with visa matters and immigration procedures, as we do not have the formal requirements. Please only contact us if you have been able to clarify your immigration matters on your own.

  Zu uns:
  Unser Hof liegt in der Altmark (nahe Salzwedel), einer eher landwirtschaftlich geprägten Region mit zahlreichen alternativen Projekten und entsprechend viel Raum für freie Gestaltung. Wir leben hier mit 10 Menschen. Manche leben im Haus, manche im Bauwagen oder LKW, manche sind beruflich oder privat immer mal wieder länger weg. Die meisten von uns sind in irgendeiner Form professionell handwerklich tätig. Unser Altersspektrum reicht von 2 bis 62.
  
  Unser schönes, großes Grundstück (ca. 1,5 Hektar) besteht aus einem ehemaligen landwirtschaftlichen Hof mit diversen Nebengebäuden und viel Freifläche. Wir sind ökologisch orientiert, arbeiten möglichst nachhaltig und haben diverse, saisonal wechselnde Projektschwerpunkte (z. B. Gemüseanbau oder Arbeiten an Haus und Hof).
  
  Unsere Fertigkeiten, die wir gerne teilen, reichen von professioneller Gärtnerei und nachhaltigem Landwirtschaften bis hin zu ökologischer Bausanierung und Tischlerei. Wir sind lokal mit anderen interessanten Projekten vernetzt, die wiederum in der Solidarischen Landwirtschaft tätig sind oder sich anderen alternativen Strukturen widmen.
  
  Als Einblick in unseren Alltag hier eine kurze Auflistung der Arbeiten, die wir in der letzten Zeit gemacht haben:
  
  - Gewächshausaufbau und Gemüseanbau
  - Nachhaltige Optimierung der Bewässerung (Regenwassernutzung)
  - Wohnungssanierung (Lehmputz, Dämmung, Fensterbau etc.)
  - Oldtimerrestaurierung und Wagenbau
  - Entfernen einer großen Brombeerhecke und Planierung des Grundbodens
  - Bau einer Trockentrenntoilette und einer solarthermischen Gartendusche
  - …
  
  Wir legen großen Wert auf ein entspanntes Miteinander und kochen gerne abends gemeinsam. Aber: Alles kann, nichts muss. Es gibt Platz und Raum, sich auch mal in die eigenen vier Wände zurückzuziehen oder einfach nix zu machen und die Natur zu genießen. Wir freuen uns über Besuch und einen herzlichen und gerne auch nachhaltigen kulturellen Austausch.
  
  Wichtig: Wir sind ein Privathaushalt und haben keine formalrechtliche soziale, kommerzielle oder anders geartete Organisationsstruktur. Wir betreiben unseren Garten und unsere Hausbaustellen unentgeltlich und können keine Anstellung bieten. Auch bei Visumsangelegenheiten und einreisetechnischen Verfahren können wir nicht behilflich sein, da uns die formellen Voraussetzungen dafür fehlen. Bitte kontaktiert uns nur, wenn ihr eure Einreiseangelegenheiten eigenständig klären konntet.

  Our skills, which we are happy to share, range from professional gardening and sustainable agriculture to ecological building renovation and carpentry. We are locally networked with other interesting projects, which in turn are active in solidarity agriculture or are dedicated to other alternative structures.
  
  With us you can get insights into the above-mentioned learning fields and experience a relaxed togetherness in the country. We live in a very remote, predominantly agricultural area. There isn't much urban party here, but there is a broad subcultural landscape in which there is a lot to discover. The Wendland with its round villages, the Green Belt (former inner-German border strip, is under nature protection), the Elbe or a larger lake are nearby excursion destinations. Or go paddling to Salzwedel. Berlin and Hamburg can be reached by train in less than 2 hours.
  
  Bei uns könnt ihr Einblicke in die oben genannten Lernfelder erhalten und ein entspanntes Miteinander auf dem Land erleben. Wir leben in einem sehr abgelegenen, überwiegend landwirtschaftlichen Landstrich. Viel urbane Party ist hier nicht, dafür aber eine breite subkulturelle Landschaft, in der es Einiges zu entdecken gibt. Als nahe gelegene Ausflugsziele bieten sich das Wendland mit seinen Rundlingsdörfern, das Grüne Band (ehemaliger innerdeutscher Grenzstreifen, steht unter Naturschutz), die Elbe oder ein größerer See an. Oder mal paddeln gehen nach Salzwedel. Berlin und Hamburg sind mit dem Zug in weniger als 2 Stunden zu erreichen.

  Ayuda

  The help that would be pending changes depending on the season and the current focus of the construction site. We update our profile regularly.
  
  For the coming months, help is very much appreciated with the following tasks:
  
  - Vegetable growing, plant cultivation
  - Further optimisation of the irrigation system
  - Renovation of the house (clay plaster, insulation, window construction, laying floors, etc.)
  - Levelling the ground in a corner of the plot where we want to build a little sauna house
  - Improve firewood shelter (brick wall, install guttering)
  - General maintenance of the yard: mowing the lawn and mulching the beds, making firewood, etc.
  - Whatever you feel like doing... The best thing is to send us an email with your interests and wishes. This is the best way for us to agree on what you would like to do.
  
  
  
  Die Arbeiten, die anstehen würden, wechseln je nach Saison und aktuellen Baustellenschwerpunkten. Wir aktualisieren unser Profil regelmäßig.
  
  Für die kommenden Monate ist bei folgenden Aufgaben sehr gerne Hilfe gesehen:
  
  - Gemüseanbau, Pflanzenanzucht
  - Bewässerungsanlage weiter optimieren
  - Wohnungssanierung (Lehmputz, Dämmung, Fensterbau, Böden legen etc.)
  - Planierung des Grundbodens in einer Ecke des Grundstücks, in der wir ein Saunahäuschen bauen wollen
  - Brennholzunterstand ausbessern (Wand aufmauern, Regenrinne anbringen
  - Generelle Instandhaltung des Hofes: Rasen mähen und Beete abmulchen, Brennholz machen etc.
  - Worauf ihr Lust habt... Am Besten schickt ihr uns eine Mail mit euren Interessen und Wünschen. So können wir uns am besten absprechen, um auf eure Vorstellungen einzugehen.

  We offer a small room and a guest caravan with shared use of the kitchen and bathroom, in which you can sleep alone or (if you are familiar) as a couple. For larger groups, please inquire.
  
  Wir bieten ein kleines Zimmer und einen Gästebauwagen mit Küchen- und Badmitbenutzung, in denen jeweils allein oder auch (bei entsprechendem Bekanntheitsverhältnis) zu zweit geschlafen werden kann. Bei größeren Gruppen bitte anfragen.
