Hi, I am Douglas L. I live in the wonderful Botebo countryside with an amazing 200m longest river in Sweden.
In addition to my profession in the social work field where I work with divers’ people from different socio-economic cultural and abilities. As the perfect way to escape the busy country life, I embrace the countryside life and farming. Since my children are grown up and are focussing on their family, I devote my life to chicken, couple of dogs and horses. Furthermore, I love fixing things around the house and love to do general maintenance duties (plumbing, electrical...). Additionally, I was trained as a carpenter. Another hobby that I enjoy a lot is taking photographs.
From you as a workawayer I expect help with taking care of animals, 2 horses, chickens, dogs, cats and other outdoor activities around my farm for example preparation of firewood, gardening, greenhouse etc.
I live and a big house - now I can accommodate one or two people who can have his/her own room.

A big house where you can have your own cozy room, bathroom/toilet shared. You can also camp with your car on my property or live in a nice room with huge balcony in a small house next door (only summer time). If you are more the adventures type it's possible to stay in a wooden Trapper house or tent.
Plenty of food in the house!
If you are interested, you will discover the surrounding forest, doing sight seeing and occasional travelling the neighbouring cities.
