I have five doggies mostly adopted. Need some assistance to take care of doggies and home.

My home is located 500 meters up on a mountain overlooking the Adriatic, with mountains behind. there is walking trails around here and the scenery is outstanding, looking up the mountains or down to the sea. We are 7 km up the mountain from Budva, you can hitch, or catch a bus nearby to town or if adventurous walk and bush wack the trail to town.

Outdoor coffee shops, Ancient city of Budva to explore, great location.
Drinking tea or coffee on the verandah and watching the boats coming and going, sailing, fishing, water sports in abundance, horse riding, trekking, paragliding school nearby, health spas. Quiet up here on the mountain but the town is bustling in the summer season.

Really looking for workawayers (is that a word?) who would like to stay for extended period of time i.e. more than one month. mature volunteers welcome

Have volunteers from different countries, and we all take turns in cooking a local dish from their home country, so meals are very interesting. We also chat especially over coffee so we learn about differences in culture. Travelling around Montenegro, seeing such a beautiful country which has alot to offer, snow skiing in winter and water skiing in summer. Walking trails close to the house with breathtaking views out over the Adriatic.

We start a typical day at 0700 with doggie play time which means we spend time to interact with the doggies throwing the ball and giving them love.
. At 0800 we stop for breakfast.
At 0900 we start days chores which can be gardening or painting or building a little more of the support wall.
At 12 we stop for lunch.
After lunch is free time till the next doggie playtime

We start doggie play again at 1900 and water the garden. There is usually 3 volunteers here. If you want to go out in afternoon there is no need to come back for doggie play time we only ask you talk to other volunteers as it's helpful to have one volunteer here for afternoon doggie play time.
Days off just coordinate with other volunteers so that there is always one volunteer here. Ithere is usually three volunteers so you will get to meet very interesting people (And food) from around the world.

We have cut a path on the mountain near to the house to take the doggies for walks up on the mountains. Amazing trail with outstanding scenery. They are lovely doggies, gentle nature.

A dogs life, sleeping, eating, playing, walking, running, being bathed, being groomed. hmmm

There is plenty of opportunity to go out and enjoy the surroundings, go for walks on the mountain, and enjoy the local culture.

We are still putting finishing touches to reconstruction work that was done here so if you have any experience using power tools or plumbing a little cement work that would be great but definitely not essential.

PLEASE NOTE: if you are not able to stay more than a month please do not apply. we are a family community and it takes a while for new volunteers to get to know us and our routines.

Those that cannot accept doggie barking please dont apply.

please note we do not plan more than a month ahead so please note this when you write to us

    senior volunteers welcome

An independent room with its own toilet and shower and indepent access. The view from the room is down the mountain to the sea. Its in a pretty quiet area, up on the mountain, but within 3 mins reach of bus services to local town which is bustling in the summer with tourists. Old City of Budva with narrow cobble streets, plenty of beaches, outdoor coffee bars, sailing, fishing water sports etc.

There is also a small independent apartment with kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is shared if there is a volunteer in the independent room mentioned above.
