  Hello, we live in a village in the nature, 5kms away from Ponteareas, by the river and surrounded by forests.
  At the moment(starting 2026) we mostly need a person to help in DIY projects on a camper, a warehouse and fences and vegetation of the property in general, as well as helping on preparing wood for winter. One meal a day will be shared on shared working days.
  
  Anton is in his 15 and I , Antía (45) used to do organic farming and basket delivery in the property and travel before. I like nature, history, sociology, philosophy, to have a talk on interesting subjects, etc. easy people, no ortodox of nothing.
  At the moment we are starting a new project, based on the coliving concept, lets see how it goes...
  
  50 meters down from our house is passing the Uma river, with its waterfalls, and a 2,5 trekking beautiful path by wonderfull forests. 10 minutes away, there are Btt tracks .
  A few kms away, there is Vilasobroso medieval Castle, Ponteareas town center, Castro de Troña, Mondariz Balneario and some thermal baths in Salvaterra de MIño the nearest, and portuguese border in Moncao. And like a bit less than an hour drive are the beautifull beaches of Ria de Vigo, Aldán and Pontevedra, Baiona, Nigran, etc. For snorkling, surfing, etc. Vigo city is 40 minutes away and St James path is passing 15 kms away from us, by Porriño.
  To practise, if raining some sport, there is a interior rocodrome in Ponteareas and the public swiming pool with spa.
  There is street market in Ponteareas on Saturdays and in Mondariz on Sundays (10-14)
  We´ve got also the greenhouse where you can do a vegetable garden if interested.
  
  We cannot say on the length of the stay until we know you and check everything is going well for all, but wouldn´t normally alllow more than 2-3 months and would always, as caution, have a 2 weeks trial period after which we will meet and decide if both would like to increase the stay, checking again after the two weeks.
  
  It is compulsory that you´ve got an insurance that covers any accident or health problem you may have, so that you can access medical care and assistance. We need you to sign a Volunteer declaration with your details in order to clarify your identity and the rules and terms of the exchange and justify your presence here, before arrival or before starting. Ask us about it.
  
  Until october, the accomodation we can provide (unless we progress on the renovation project, is in the old campervan that you can see in the pictures or in a tent if you´d prefer..

  Our place is a beautifull piece of nature where you can get isolated if you wish or you may visit nearby towns. A big piece of land, with greenhouse, warehouses, you may have your own workshop if you wish, and nice forests and river. Very quite.
  We can show surroundings, teach language, learn helping with hands or tools, knowledge on organic farming and wild plants, a bit of history, politics, sociology or philosophy, etc. share our life and became part of our family for this bit. We are very social, especially Anton.

  Ayuda

  We need help with the day a day duties, depending on your preferences, skills and the time you´ll spend here, there is a wide range of things to be done, and , gardening (taking care of the garden, streamiing, prunning, decorating) , creative tasks with different tools, to learn and experiment selfsuficiency , art work to integrate the ugly concrete brics into something in armony with the surrunding, are also in between the ideas, but day a day, cleaning, cooking , tiding would also help a lot.

  Me interesa practicar y mejorar todos los idiomas que figuran entre mis idiomas y también que mi hijo conviva con ellos. Estoy abierta a conocer otros también. I´m open to practise and improve every language that I wrote above and also happy if my son does. Also open to learn other ones.

  Alojamiento

  The accomodation may vary depending on the moment and the needs of the volunteer.
  
  At the moment, we can offer a place to camp and a tent or a camper-van .
  
  We´ll share only the biggest meal , if we are together there to do between 2p.m. and 3p.m. normally that me, you or together cook (I do not know if call it lunch or dinner, but that´s the usual timing in Spain). You can use anything you can find growing on the property for eat in any case, there are different things depending on the season and works done: apples, berries, figs and wild eatable plants (I´ve use them better for salad than the lettuce itself and I can teach you on them utilities and properties), kale, herbs, etc.
  
  Helping time will be of 16 hours a week and would be decided when depending on the light hours (diferent depending on the season), the school timetable, the kind of job, the experience and the preferences of host and volunteers. We can talk about it on arrival or before setting it out.
  
  There is other people living on the property too.

  Algo más...

  There is beautifull nature arround, forests, river and sea with beautiful beaches not so far. Towns to visit nearby are Salvaterra, Ponteareas, Moncao (Portugal), Ourense and Vigo. Termal waters, trekking, biking, surfing, etc.
  Public transport from the village is very limited, but from Ponteareas, 4kms away is every hour to Vigo almost, I can lend you the bike, or you can use our ways, monday to friday out at 9:30 and back, 17:30. We can leave you in Salvaterra, Ponteareas, Salceda de Caselas, and once a week in Pontevedra and Barcia de Mera (ask for updating in case of changes).Also, schooltime, there is the bus that you can use, at 8:12 from the village, coming back at 14:30 from Ponteareas, from IES Barral.
