We have a relaxed share-house style home in the heart of Perth, Western Australia. The people who live here are late 20s. As a house we like to have dinners together, go for walks and to the beach, play boardgames, go to a local pub for a quiz, or whatever really - we just like to do new things and have fun.

One of the people living here (Jono) owns the house and is renovating it, and the house next-door. So there's fun jobs to do each day, and many things to learn.

The people living here are all avid workaway users, we loved our experiences abroad and therefore want to provide a safe, friendly, and fun home-base for travellers. We know all about Australia and Perth and are willing to share anything you want to know.
With regards to the work, Jono is super keen to teach what he knows regarding renovation and would love to learn anything in that space that you have to teach him!

    Ayuda

Most help will be renovation focused. The project is very early in its outset, so demolition works (taking down walls, ripping up floorboards, some landscaping tasks for new pipes, fixing the foundations). Following this, some brick laying, garden designing, internal construction, etc!)

If this isn't really your speed, there's always a bit of gardening and some maintenance items to attend to. :)

Actively trying to learn French! My parents speak reasonably well.

  • Alojamiento

    Alojamiento

Complete room with a queen bed, wardrobe, fan, etc. The house has all the typical amenities. Currently there's only 2 of us living here but it's a 4 bedroom house so we may get 1 more housemate soon.
Food for breakfast and lunch will generally be shared and fair game. For dinner we typically take turns cooking between house members (yourself included)!

  • Algo más...

    Algo más...

Western Australia has some of the most gorgeous beaches in the world. Perth's local beaches are no exception, but sadly you will have to share them with the locals.
We have the natural beauty of Kings Park and the Swan River.
Otherwise, we have heaps of culture like street festivals, music events, good bars, and sporting competitions.
