Hi everyone! First of all, thank you so much for visiting our page and showing interest in our lifestyle!
We are truly grateful for every connection we make here.

In a peaceful rural area in Fujieda, surrounded by birdsong and flowing rivers, we welcome you not just as a volunteer, but as a member of our family.

🌞 Main Project for August: Making Summer Memories!

Our son will be turning 7 soon! During his August summer vacation (for about 3 weeks), we are looking for someone who can spend time playing with him with all their energy. This role is perfect for those who love playing with children, or are interested in education and experiencing real Japanese family life.

Your Main Role: Playing with our son and creating wonderful summer memories.
Other Tasks: Occasionally helping in our natural farming fields and assisting with dinner preparation.

🌾 About Our Natural Farming & Seasonal Experiences

We grow a very rare variety of rice using traditional natural farming methods (no chemical fertilizers or pesticides) on our 1,500-square-meter field.
Depending on the season, you can experience traditional farming with us:
    May–June: Traditional hand-planting rice seedlings.
July: Cutting grass in the rice fields with sickles (Physically demanding!).
November: Harvesting rice with sickles & sun-drying (Haze-kake).
Winter (Jan–Mar): Preparing irrigation channels and soil management.
Year-round: Growing vegetables using natural farming methods.

✨ Who We Are Looking For & Skills We Appreciate

We are looking for positive, cheerful individuals aged 23 or older who genuinely enjoy daily life. No professional qualifications required!
We highly welcome people who bring their own creativity. If you have any of these interests, please let us know:
Video shooting/editing, website creation, design, music, sewing, yoga, cooking, or DIY.
(※If you want to utilize your creative skills, feel free to share a portfolio with us!)
If you don't have specific skills but have great physical strength and a big smile, you are more than welcome!

For safety and security reasons, we are currently accepting female volunteers only. Thank you for your understanding.

    🧘‍♀️ Life, Refreshment & Accommodations

The Experience: Cool down in a beautiful mountain river, join "Temple Yoga" led by my wife (a yoga instructor), try a digital detox (or play retro Nintendo/Famicom!), and enjoy cultural/music exchange over dinner.

    📩 How to Apply
We only accept volunteers aged 23 or older.
When you message us, please tell us why you are interested in our lifestyle, and share your favorite things or what you are good at! We look forward to meeting you.

    🏡 Accommodations & Environment
Our house is a modern home built five years ago. It features a wood-burning stove and is filled with the warmth of natural wood.
Your Room: Your space is a semi-private loft on the second floor, which you access using a ladder. There are two windows with beautiful views of the mountains and the fields. While there is no wall between the loft and the first-floor living room (it is an open-ceiling layout), we use bamboo blinds for privacy, so the inside of the loft cannot be seen from the first floor.
    Surrounding Area:
10-minute walk: A small traditional Japanese sweets shop and a local shrine that protects the village.
30-minute walk (17 mins by car): "Setoya Onsen Yuraku," a local hot spring facility located just over the mountain.
20 to 25-minute bike ride: The nearest supermarket, and Rengejiike Park (where you can enjoy a view of Mount Fuji from the hiking trails on a clear day).

  • Algo más...

    Algo más...

・About a 25-minute bike ride from the house takes you to Rengejiike Park. From there, if you follow one of the hiking trails a little further, you can enjoy a view of Mount Fuji on a clear day.

・A 30-minute walk from the house brings you to a small waterfall, and if you go over one mountain (there are some slopes – about an hour and a half on foot), you’ll reach Setoya Onsen Yuraku.

・About a 10-minute walk from the house, there’s a small traditional Japanese sweets shop and a local shrine that protects the village.

・There is a hot spring 17 minutes away by car, about 30 minutes by bicycle (over the mountain), and around an hour and a half on foot.

・The nearest supermarket is about a 20-minute bike ride away.
