  We are in the process of creating a zen garden. We like to create a space for meditation, eco-gardening, and growing 100% bio fruits, and vegetables. A place of peace and serenity. We need you, a garden lover and DIY pro, to help us fix the house and the garden. Your ideas, handyman skills, and your creativity are in demand and most welcome. It will be hard, but rewarding work. Enjoy 100% privacy, as we leave the place entirely in your hands. We provide free food and drinks for all of our workawayers (which however you need to prepare yourself). We also provide a small monetary compensation.

  If you like to learn German or English you are most welcome to learn from us. You can take a swim in the nature reserve "Wakenitz", a 15km long river, which is just 250 meters away from the house. Besides, you can harvest apples, and plums as well as vegetables in the garden. You also could study and learn German in Lübeck! We got two bicycles and the historic city center is only 20min away. The house is closely located in the nature reserve, which is perfect for SUPs and beautiful bicycle tours.

  Ayuda

  We are looking for somebody (preferably a motivated young couple, or an experienced craftsman/gardener) to help us to create a zen garden space. This means we need help with both: a small garden house and a garden. You could be helping with the renovation of the (tiny) house (approx. 34m2), which consists of painting walls, floors, and fixing up minor things. The garden (approx. 400m2) needs to be maintained and we need help to fix things, create fences, cut grass, trees, and bushes etc.
  
  Skills in woodworking would be excellent, as we have lots of wood and glass windows and may want to create a greenhouse.
  
  We compensate our workawayers with free accommodation and free food, as well as prior agreed minimum wages.

  Alojamiento

  Simple but comfortable accommodation in a garden environment. Lots of books, a small kitchen, a chimney, and an outdoor oven (perfect for barbecues). You got electricity, water, and an outdoor shower (cold). You could however warm up the cold water (in a bucket), to offset the cold. We are currently working on the warm water pipe system. There is a dry bio toilette for reusing your poop in the garden. The place is simple and small, but cozy and comfortable. Perfect for people who love the luxury of nature. Supermarkets approx. 15min per pedes.

  - Visit Hamburg (70km) by train
  - Take a swim in the nature reserve "Wakenitz", a 15km long river, which is just 300 meters away from the house.
  - Ride to Travemünde (10km) or the Ostsee Beach (30km) by train or bike
  - Go and visit the historic city center and the old town of Lübeck with lots of culture (20min).
  - Pick fruits and harvest apples, and plums as well as vegetables in the garden.
  - Study and learn German in Lübeck!
  - Ride bicycles and tour the nature reserve.
  - Ride our SUP in the nearby river.
  - Small restaurants and supermarkets just a few kilometres away (15min per pedes, 5min by bike)
