I am a well-traveled, open-minded, older woman on 16 hectares of land in native bush. I am an experienced medical herbalist, dedicated environmentalist, passionate about the food we eat and the environment we all share. This is permaculture property close to Sandy Bay along the Tutukaka coast of Northland, New Zealand. My home is nestled in the Bush, and at present rented out to two beautiful women.
You will be staying in accommodation away from the house where meals and are included for a fair exchange. We are easy-going, open-minded and prefer Organic fresh food... enjoy your day...
I am also looking for workaway that need a winter home for 2 or 3 months, July, August, September while I'm away. I will still supply most of your food... but of course reduced working hours can be off set discussed.

English, grammar, nutrition, permaculture, Yoga. There is a playground nearby for surfing, diving, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and coastal hikes. This is breathtakingly beautiful land year-round to play and explore. Clean and Green!
Ayuda
Primary responsibilities are weeding several gardens around the property, and clearing invasive gorse (shrub) on steep terrain. Other tasks include gathering, sorting and stacking) firewood, collecting bamboo leaves (mulch) for existing gardens, help with the chicken coop (as needed). Any general renovation experience (carpentry, painting, fencing etc.) is always appreciated!
I have 3 goats helping with them milking & to trim hooves every 2 months. Lots to play with in Paradise

Alojamiento
Accommodation self contained one-floor open studio set apart from the main house with a shower and fireplace inside, a compost toilet (outhouse) nearby, with views of the ocean!
This is a large open space and shared with myself until 1st November . We will not be staying in the house.
You will be surrounded by Bush with amazing views of the Milky Way, and views of the Pacific. We now have wifi so can connect you up.
Your own car is an advantage, as there is no public transportation serving this area.
I will take my workaway down the beach and into town if the do not have vehicle.

There is plenty to do and see around this gorgeous coast declared by Jacques Cousteau as one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world. We spend afternoons walking, swimming, and exploring the many bays along the coast. The bush is lush and beautiful. The night sky is free from light pollution and the Milky Way is fully visible. There are always games, music, movies and great food. Bring your imagination and "playtime" will surely follow.

Living with Shushila was an amazing experience that was both relaxing and exciting at the same time.
