  We have a property in Chewton with an orchard, garden, friendly dogs and chickens. Chewton is a little village with a pop up coffee van, post office and lovely country pub. It is close to Castlemaine which is a great alternative town with many cafes, markets and creative events happening. There is a regular train from Melbourne to Castlemaine and this goes onto Bendigo then Swan Hill. We are a diverse group of people from 30 to 60. We mainly eat organic vegetarian, but also eat ethical meat when we source it. We all have our own houses but help each other out. We have a self contained studio, with its own kitchen and bathroom. A wood fire for winter, and an air conditioner in summer. It is rustic, but comfortable and you can cook your own meals if you want.
  
  Our property is in the old gold mining area, and we have gold detectors, if you would like to try your luck.
  
  We would like help with gardening, collecting firewood and light maintenance. I would like to practice my Japanese.

  Meet some of the many diverse people in the Castlemaine area. Go gold prospecting - I have gold detectors. Use my ceramics studio. Visit local farms that have goats, alpacas and sheep.

  Ayuda

  We need help with weeding the garden, light maintenance around the house, staining windows and decks. Cooking a meal would be wonderful. I would expect 3 to 4 hours a day but am flexible. We mainly eat organic vegetarian food and sometimes ethical meat.

  There are many wonderful things to do around Castlemaine - it is a creative arts based alternative town. Bendigo is 40 minutes away, and is a large town with many attractions. The Chinese museum, Art gallery, Goldmining tours, cafe's, Bendigo Pottery.
