Hey and welcome to Malaysia! :)
Now :
We are a family of 4, husband wife, one teenager (who is only around during weekends and a school holidays) and one toddler (homeschooling).
We’re from Cyberjaya, Malaysia and we have an extra room in my apartment (can fit 2 adults 1 child) and I’m looking for someone/small family to stay with us short or long term.
What we can offer ;
1. Our bicycles (one comes with baby carrier),
2. our apartment facilities (gym, swimming pool, badminton, futsal, tennis, basketball courts)
3. Our kitchen
5. Hiking/waterfall visits (subject to weather conditions)/nearby attractions in Putrajaya.
What’s in our neighborhood ;
1. Several parks with lakes and farm animals
2. Volunteering based farm
3. Lots of international schools
4. 2 malls within walking distance
5. Hospital within walking distance
What we are looking for ;
1. Cultural exchange
2. Exposure to new language for my daughter (1.5yo)
3. Help me out on Saturday mornings with a playgroup I run
4. Help in advertising, etc.
5.Help with lesson plans/play with my daughter
6. Help with apartment balcony vegetable planting
We drink occasionally. No cigarettes pls as our daughter is prone to asthma.
How we run our house :
0. Please shower at least once everyday for hygiene reasons. If you feel very humid, shower 2-3 times like we do. Our condo is generally cooler than any other place.
AC usage : We have ACs but the electricity charges are high. The tariffs increase as usage increases. For us, it’s only RM2 per day. But when people use the AC, it goes up to RM6-10 per day. So if you want to use the AC the whole night and day, please pay the difference in amount. We have an app to show daily usage prices.
If you use the AC like us, then no need to pay anything extra for AC usage. : we turn it on for 30minutes before sleeping /napping to cool the room and then turn it off
Note : The room is generally cool if you leave the windows open and let the fresh air come in.

We speak three languages. English, Malay and Tamil. Malaysia is a great place for food and you will meet many locals and foreigners here.

Your room comes with a window, wardrobe, queen size bed and mattress and we can fit in another single mattress if you need it.
Restaurants are everywhere! Food delivery directly to our apartment only for RM1 (delivery charge). Price ranges from RM7-20).
Feel free to cook at our place. We have a fully equipped kitchen and a table top oven. You can walk/cycle and get your groceries from the shops within our apartment or the mall/shops opposite our apartment.
We have a huge crowd of foreigners in Cyberjaya so you have good options for food stuffs - even cheese.

We have 2 MRT train stations and bus services (bus stop is right outside our apartment)
2 bicycles for you to use, if you need more, we can bring more.

Unfortunately we don’t have a running wifi connection. We are using our mobile data which is fine for us. You could subscribe to some plan if you’re here. Mobile plans are really good
