We're looking for 1 volunteer. In this moment there are works in the vine and a room to paint... Please not uncertain helpers, these are busy days for me and I need somebody to explain and entrust the task easily 🤞 I'm fooling myself I can manage it all alone, but I do certainly need an help 😅

My name is Elisa (30) and so far I'm more a workawayer than an host.
I love to meet people from all over the world, hang out with them and enjoy new points of view.
I'd like better to travel myself, but it's not always possibile, so I took a look around me and I discovered my native place is a perfect place to host workawayers :D
My father owns a property - 25 minutes far from the city- where he's growing a Vineyard for Lambrusco wine; for him it's just an hobby to work there, so there are periods you may meet him frequently and others he'll be too busy with his work.
The bottles of wines he produces are consumed by the family and given to relatives and friends, we don't sell them.
In the property we also have bees (my father is the beekeeper), free chikens, and an old house - in a very bad state and where nobody lives- that needs a complete renovation.
Even if I'm the only vegetarian in the family, VEGETARIANS are more than welcome!
We prefer no-smokers workawayers.
A driving licence could turn out to be useful but it's not a requirement.

Basically I'm just trying to put together my joy of meeting new friends and showing them around and the need of some help in the countryside.
Parma it's quite a small city full of historical buildings, parks and good food. Our city got elected "Italian Capital of Culture 2020".
You can easily go around by bike (we will provide you one) or just walking.
My family likes to welcome travelers and new friends but except me and my brother they don't speak much english, so knowing some italian would be a great plus to make your experience more inclusive in case you'll meet/ work with them.

I'm looking for ENTHUSIASTIC, PRACTICAL and SELF RELIANT helpers.
Even if we started the host project mainly for the vineyard, the tasks are now gradually moving to the house and other activities related.
The help in the house is basically about moving stuffs and reorganising spaces. I admit it's not easy for me to organize this work as it implies many small tasks and decisions: that's why I really need helpers that can contribute to the development of the decisions with some practical attitude and suggestions.
If you have some particular skills or knowledge that can be helpful to repair the old house, please tell us!

Alojamiento
A single room in a shared apartment with other guys in the centre of Parma (it's not the same house where me and my family live and it's neither the old house in the countryside).
We will provide food for you to cook and sometimes we will eat together.

Great workaway! Amazing people!! Elisa and her brother are such nice and easy going folks! I felt comfortable right away with them. Elisa saved me accepting my last minute demand. I could only stay a week, because she already had another workaway planned after, but I would have loved to stay longer!
